The home of the legendary Oaxacan singer Lila Downs. Lila, her husband Paul, and Lila's mother Anita redesigned the home. Nowadays the hosts are experimenting life changes that do not allow them to receive and hang out with the guests as usual, therefore we ask you to be considered, respectful and self service as possible, we are a great maintenance team that will be in a schedule from 9am to 5pm Mon to Sat, to help with any urgent need. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and ceiling fans, and two full bathrooms. The view of the city and Soledad Church from the private rooftop terrace is breathtaking, and if you look in the right direction you can see Monte Albán. It is located in one of the most representative and beautiful neighborhoods of the city within the historic center, the neighborhood of Xochimilco. The area is very quiet. You will find museums, churches, shops and restaurants of the most visited. There is also the traditional Sanchez Pascuas Market and “La Cosecha” organic market just one block from the house.
