This is a great place for remote workers looking for a peaceful, serene retreat with multiple areas to work from (love the hammocks_ and great Wifi. My husband and I worked remotely here for a week and had an incredible time! The views from the deck are beautiful, and sunsets are gorgeous. I was so appreciate about how flexible and accommodating the staff was, they held our bags for us after checkout and offered a place for us to work from as we awaited to be picked up for the airport. They offer ordered lunches, massage services, chef services, and literally anything you could want. Note, there is no air conditioning but plenty of fans.

El Solar is incredibly gorgeous. It’s an absolute gem in Antigua at an unmissable price. We slept 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) comfortably. The location can’t be beat with popular restaurants on all sides, access to boutique shopping, and walking distance to the main square. The only thing of note is that the loft room gets super hot, but it’s typical of the area. We were provided with extra fans. 10/10 would stay here again.

This place was great, 3 nice large bedrooms, all with their own nice bathrooms, and a cool lil 1/2 bath next to kitchen. Kitchen is VERY well equipped, and the immediate area has LOTS of dining options, and easily walkable to all of Antigua. Hostess was also very flexible with us. Would definitely stay again if available.

I had a wonderful stay at Alotetango House. The service was excellent—staff were attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. The facilities were top-notch, and I especially appreciated the stunning view and the beautiful pool, which made for a truly relaxing experience. Highly recommend!

This is a hidden oasis near Antigua. Totally private enclosure and the cottage is in the back. The pool is amazing and the grounds are gorgeous. Amazing atmosphere. It is not in Antigua and takes about 15 minutes to get downtown put has parking on site and easy to get in and out of a secure location.

Junto con mi familia pasamos un tiempo muy agradable, la casa es bastante cómoda para una familia pequeña, nos encantó el ambiente colonial tan único de Antigua, el residencial es bastante seguro y privado, las amenidades las mantienen en muy buen estado, la piscina y las áreas de juego hicieron el complemento perfecto para nuestra estadía. Boris nos apoyó en todo momento. Sin duda regresaremos en una próxima oportunidad.

Karla's place was beautiful and really captured Antigua's charm. It was close enough to the center of Antigua yet quiet and private, so you can rest well. Karla was one of the best hosts I have ever had! Unfortunately, while in Guatemala, I was bit by a stray dog and had a really difficult time finding somewhere to get a rabies vaccine. Karla was a huge help to me by calling several places to try and find the vaccine for me. She definitely went above and beyond her responsibilities as a host! Would definitely recommend her place to stay at. It was one of our most favorite Airbnb's of our entire trip.

Es uno de los mejores Airbnb que he visitado en Guatemala!. Tuve la oportunidad de conocer a Norma y quedan cortas las palabras de agradecimiento a su atención y comunicación hacia mi familia y mi persona. El alojamiento estaba limpio, ordenado y bien organizado. Es de apreciar que Norma está atenta hasta los pequeños detalles, la zona es tranquila y el clima muy fresco! Esperamos poder visitarlos el próximo año para vivir de nuevo el quinto domingo de cuaresma en Antigua Guatemala! fue la mejor localización para poder ver la procesión de Jesús Nazareno de la Caida❤️

Loved the house -- yes, you get an entire house with a two-windowed office and big professional glass desk, an upstairs with two bedrooms, a spiral staircase, and views to both volcánes de agua and fuego. Lots of interesting books about art and some on history await you. You enter the property via the lockable big garage style doors common to Guatemala homesteads. Interior from those doors, the plot of land is shared with another house of the hostess, not Emiliano. They weren't there originally but arrived a couple days into my stay along with their playful German shepherd. The coffeemaker stopped working and they replaced it within hours. Very comfortable stay in a beautifull gated community. If you head out of the community, bring your ID and the address of the place to get back in.

This guest house was simple, but very clean and located in a beautiful neighborhood. The photos really do a good job of showing what the place looked like which is always nice. Antigua is a beautiful city, and after a full day of exploring the busy city streets it was always nice to pass through the gate onto the private road which was very peaceful. The house was a bit tricky to find the first time, but very easy to access after that. The neighborhood was very peaceful and very safe feeling with 2 security gates that you have to pass through. There were lots of lovely flowers everywhere and the garden in the center of the house was really peaceful. The house is within easy walking distance of all of Antigua and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the central park. The people of Antigua were very friendly and we felt very safe walking around even at night. If you want to enjoy Antigua, and still have a quite retreat to return home to, then I think you would really enjoy this house.

2nd time staying at Sor Juana and its more dreamy than I remember. Go ahead and book this place NOW. The rooms are massive, the terrace is gorgeous and the staff are amazing. The breakfast provided was delicious and we were even able to wash and dry our clothes since we hiked Acatenango one of the days. Its also spacious enough for everyone to hang out in different areas of the house so you dont ever feel crowed. Cant say enough good things about this place. One quirk we didn’t realize is that the showers take a bit to warm up, so just let the water run for a few minutes before jumping in.

Excelente anfitriona y muy linda casa para descansar y conectarse con el entorno. Las fotos no hacen justifica a la linda casa y entorno, en especial las hermosas vistas a los volcanes… es mucho mejor en la realidad que en las fotos para poder capturar el lindo entorno. Volvería a este lugar tantas veces pudiese.

Had a great time at Ana Maria's place. It was perfect for a family of 4, enough room for everyone to relax. The place is super clean and welcoming. We were a short walk away from the center of Antigua. The pool was a plus, my kids really enjoyed swimming there on a day we decided to just stay in and relax. We felt safe and definitely recommend this place for anyone traveling with kids.

Stayed here with my family which was a total of 5 of us and we had plenty of space with a bed to spare. It was within a private community which was beautiful with a view of the volcano right outside the door and we liked the extra security. The washer and dryer was also an added bonus but bring detergent with you to use. Within 15min walking distance to the arch and other ruins. Lots of places to eat along the way as well. Great space for the money.

Bei der ersten Anreise, muss man sich auf sein Navi verlassen, da es von außen nicht so leicht ersichtlich ist, ob man bei der richtigen Anschrift ist. Das Apartment ist in einem kleinen, aber feinen Condominium und hat seinen eigenen Parkplatz. Allerdings ungeeignet für einen Pick Up. Der Wohnbereich ist komfortabel und die Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und würden die Unterkunft wieder wählen. Die Kommunikation war super, auf Fragen wurde schnell geantwortet. sehr zu empfehlen

Great house in a great location just a short drive into town. The house is in a nice quite neighborhood and the outdoor spaces upstairs on the roof were awesome! I would stay here again if in Antigua, highly recommended.

Romeo and Wendy are extraordinary hosts! Would give them 10 stars if I could! We were able to meet them in person and they are lovely, warm people. The apartment is beautifully decorated with bright guatamalen style colors and beautiful artwork. The kitchen is well equipped, bed very comfortable, and plenty of hot water for showers. There is a private balcony off the bedroom that is great to enjoy the morning sun and the cool evenings. Orotava villas, beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. Nice heated pool. Many nooks to relax and enjoy the quiet, calm atmosphere. It is a very secure, safe property with a security gate and guard. The location is superb… walk to edge town is only 10 and to parc central about 20 minutes. There is a complimentary shuttle you prefer. Antiqua a wonderful city full of charm and warm people. If you visit Antiqua Romeo and Wendy villa is the place to stay!

Palacio de Dona Beatriz is in a secure gated community. It is very safe and quiet. The facility is more beautful than the photos. The staff was wonderful, kind, helpful and responsive to all our requests. The breakfasts were outstanding and generous. We booked out the whole place for my family to stay while attending my son's wedding. We were busy, with odd hours and stressed at times. The staff was flexible and smoothed the way for us. Everyday! If you think Palacio de Dona Beatriz will meet your needs I would look no further. They have my highest recommendation!
