Villa Rey—Traditional Hacienda Home Near Oaxaca

Our house is a traditional hacienda-type house. The guest bedrooms have their only entries through the outside patio. The private heated pool awaits for a relaxing swim after a full day exploring ruins or touring the nearby pueblos! Lachigolo is a small and peaceful pueblo, about a 15-minute drive from Oaxaca along the Pan American Highway, and around 5 minutes past El Tule. The location makes it a good base for day trips to places like Hierve al Agua, Teotitlan, and Mitla.

Minimalist jewel full of light opening onto gardens of towering trees and blooming succulents, multiple terraces and a 22-meter heated, lap pool. We are part of a Zapotec town with nearby restaurants and easy transportation to Oaxaca city (25 minutes away). We offer tours to craft villages and archaeological sites. For the hiker, there are local mountain trails. And, the town of Tule is 2.5 miles away with its majestic 2,000 year-old cypress tree - a sight to see!

Casa Orquídea is a warm spot located 15-20 minutes from the Historic Center by car (time may vary according to peak hours and holiday dates). At Casa Orquídea you can enjoy pleasant stays next to nature, with nothing but the sound of birds singing in the mornings, the sound of cornfields swaying, the wind blowing and the sound of trees. Our house is in a quiet area, with a wide variety of activities and tourist places.

Two-story bungalow surrounded by a quiet garden overlooking the mountain. The downstairs floor has equipped kitchen, dining room, a sofa bed and a full bathroom. Upstairs is a wide wall cover with queen size bed and working space. The stay is cool and well illuminated. Outside there are two shaded terraces and a mini swimming pool equipped for fixed swimming. It is located 20 minutes from downtown Oaxaca.
