Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sanchong District

I travel often and use Airbb most of the time. Charles is the most receptive and caring host I've ever experienced, feom booking until leaving. His description was accurate, checkin was easy, and the price worth every penny. Comfy bed, clean, and in the middle of everything. Anytime I find myself in Taipei, my trip will be based around the availability of Charles' apartment!

Mr. James was very accomodating, he was assisting us from the first day up until the last day of our stay. He was very understanding and friendly. He gives clear instruction on how to check in and be at his place. The room was very affordable and spacious. Will definitely book again with James as soon as I go to taiwan again.

We had a great time staying at Jacky’s 3-bedroom home. It was perfect for our work trip, with the three rooms and desks offering plenty of space to get our tasks done. Unfortunately, during our 7-day stay, the building had water maintenance for four days, and we were without running water from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. While we understand this was beyond the host's control, it did cause some inconvenience, especially on the days we were working from the house. Thankfully, there were nearby cafes where we could use the bathrooms. The location is about a 10-minute walk from Ximen Station, tucked away just far enough from the busy areas to be peaceful and quiet. Overall, the home was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. The only addition that would’ve made our stay even better would have been a microwave to heat up food.

We had a wonderful stay thanks to the incredible hospitality of Adam and Fancy. We were so grateful that they patiently waited for our late arrival (past 10 PM) on check-in day. They were incredibly helpful, taking the time to thoroughly explain everything about the apartment and providing excellent recommendations for local activities and food. The location is a major advantage, conveniently situated between Ximen station and Longshan Temple. Both are just a short 5-10 minute walk away, and there's a convenient Family Mart right outside. Even with 6 people and a lot of luggage, the apartment felt surprisingly spacious and comfortable. We found this place to be excellent value and would absolutely recommend it to other groups of friends or families, especially given the great location and ample space.

Das Zimmer sieht entsprechend den Bildern aus und bietet viel Platz. Vorab war die Kommunikation mit Ming sehr nett! Er hat mir verständliche und klare Anweisungen zum Check In gegeben und war auch sonst immer sehr schnell erreichbar und dabei sehr freundlich! Meine Fragen wurden schnell und hilfsbereit beantwortet. Das Zimmer war wirklich sehr sauber. Ich lege sehr viel Wert auf Sauberkeit und es hat alles gestimmt. Die Lage ist super (in Ximen) und dennoch ruhig und privat. Zur Metro Station „Ximen“ läuft man 5-10 min. Man erreicht alle Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell. Anschließend ist zu sagen, dass ich immer wieder zurückkommen würde, wenn ich wieder in Taipeh bin. Ich habe mich sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Ming hat mir beim Abschied noch eine kleine Verpflegung für den Weg zum Flughafen mitgegeben. Ich danke dir sehr für diesen schönen Aufenthalt. ☺️

The location is great, surrounded by plenty of good food options and a well-known local temple. The room is spacious, and there’s a laundry shop nearby. However, the entrance is sometimes obstructed by cars parked haphazardly, making access a bit difficult. There is also some mild mold on the bathroom door. Overall, it’s worth the value.

First off, huge thanks to Eda for being so flexible and helpful during our stay! 🙏 While the flight of stairs was a bit discouraging at first 😅, the moment we stepped inside, we knew it was worth it. The place is modern, sleek, and full of character ✨ plus it’s in a great location, super close to markets 🛒 and public transit 🚇. It was spotless and had everything we needed to feel at home 🏡. Any questions we had were answered immediately, Eda is hands down the most responsive host we’ve ever had 💯. 5 stars without a doubt ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and we’re already planning to stay here again next year! 📅

Great place for my boyfriend and I’s week long stay in Taipei. Conveniently located in ximen and within walking distance of the MRT and various bus stops. Would recommend!

For the price that we paid, I think this place is quite good. The host is very helpful and responsive no matter how late we texted and asked for help. However, there's one negative thing which is the toilet, it smelled like piss. Still, because of how nice the host was/is, we still think it's worth giving the place a high rating

Excellent spot in the heart of Ximending! We absolutely loved our stay. We were very grateful to the host for the flexible check-in time and all of the local recommendations. Three things I would note are 1. the beds are very hard, which many people enjoy but it was a bit too hard for my mother. 2. The room is beautiful and smells lovely, though the nextdoor neighbour smokes and the hallway does have a notable cigarette smell (my mother is sensitive to this). 3. The sound of the rain is very loud so I would suggest earplugs. We really enjoyed staying here and had a great trip. Thank you to the host!

Amazing location! Right next to the Ximending shopping area but still away from the crowds and noise. It's about 10-15 minutes away walk to the Ximen mrt station and only a 10 minute drive to the Taipei main station. Place looked just like the pictures and was clean. The hosts were very responsive and helpful! The only downside was that the hallway outside the apartment smelt like cigarette smoke but we didnt have any issues with it getting in the apartment. We would definitely stay here again though!

I had a great stay here! The room was clean and cozy, and the location was perfect—close to a convenience store, so I could grab snacks and essentials whenever I wanted. Pei was super quick to reply and really friendly too. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a hassle-free stay!

7인 단체 여행으로 숙박했는데 위치, 공간, 호스트 친절도 등 모든 면에서 정말 좋았습니다. 중앙 공간 기준으로 좌측에 방3개, 우측에 방1개 구조라 남녀 구분해서 방 쓰기에도 좋았어요. 시먼딩은 걸어서 10분이면 가고, 숙소 바로 앞에 편의점, 우육면 맛집, 조식 맛집 등 갈만한 곳이 많아요. 추천드립니다!

One of the best airbnb that I’ve been through. The location is very convenient. Literally 2-3 minutes walk to the rainbow crossing in ximending. Plus point for the AC, super cold i like it. The host is very friendly and responsive and even recommended and helps us where to eat. This is a place that I’ll recommend.

超級物超所值的選擇，位處地鐵站附近出行非常方便，早出晚歸都能輕鬆找到活動和用餐地點。住所環境衛生滿意，設備都有消毒過，生活用品如同簡介一樣齊全。家具可能用久了能看出有點痕跡，但摸上去沒有骯髒的感覺，可能有人介意美觀但清潔程度幾乎沒問題。馬桶沖水比較慢，多按壓幾下等水回上來就好了。房東態度也很好，熱心解答各種問題，能彈性處理各種需求。很值得下次來台再住

The host is very responsive, and the place is great—perfectly located near Ximending. It’s an ideal spot for solo travelers or groups of friends. The internet connection is also reliable, which is a big plus!
