Family-friendly holiday rentals in Sanders County

Perfect family vacation spot for enjoying Flathead Lake and the greater Glacier area. We will be back again and highly recommend it to others seeking an extended stay vacation

We really enjoyed The Roost. Had 10 of us and there was plenty of room. Nice Front yard to play frisbee or throw a football, but bring it with you. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub in the early mornings or evenings after a hike. The place served our needs very well and we would definitely stay there again.

Cherie and Eric’s place is very cozy and has beautiful surroundings. We loved the hot tub and the lake that’s very close by! They were very helpful and friendly! Thank you guys!

This is a nice spot on a calm little bay on gorgeous Flathead Lake! While the the property is a bit dated, it's clean and well maintained, and well equipped for a family vacation. We enjoyed a week stay with our 12 yr old daughter and my parents -- five of us total -- and felt like we had plenty of space. The pool and hot tub are nice amenities, but access to the lake is the real benefit. The property managers were very nice, available and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to book this again.

The home is small and a bit older, but it was clean and had all we needed for a wonderful and comfortable stay. Shirley was amazing. She went above and beyond to make our stay great. Thanks for everything Shirley!

We loved our stay at the cabin! We were supposed to tent camp, but the rain (and snow at Glacier) made us look for a quick alternative. This cabin was perfect for the 3 of us and our pup with ample space and all the amenities we needed. If we’re in the Flathead area again, we would definitely consider this spot.

This spot was a great value and a good location. Really enjoyed the views of the waterside and the lake. At night however, it's not a wonderful location. It is situated pretty close to the highway on a hill, so there is constant jake-braking going on. It didn't bother me too much, but may disturb light sleepers. May be less of an issue in cooler weather when windows aren't left open. Do note that while there is internet service at the house, it is pretty slow relative to city service. The access situation to the beach/dock area is a little odd. There are posted signs that it's only supposed to be used by guests of the RV park. However, this particular property is shown on the RV park brochure...Maybe they own it or there's an arrangement? Either way, we used the area to get into the water and run around on the lawn without incident.

Farmhouse was amazing! Had enough room for 10 of us to sleep comfortably. Enjoyed the house and the animals. Host was very responsive. It was very sweet that they took time to take us into the animal pens and let our group interact with the animals and feed them. We also were able to pick some flowers and vegetables. Great hosts. Location is about a 45 minute drive to the West entrance of Glacier National Park. We also were able to take out paddle boards out on the water right down the street from our house, completely walkable. Very peaceful vacation.

Very very clean and very nice house. The linens and bedding was very clean and good quality. There were 6 of us in our group and two dogs and we were all comfortable in the space. The pictures made it look like there was a bit more private land surrounding the property but despite this the outside area was still private and relaxing and felt very outdoorsy

Our family loves visiting Wallace - such a friendly, interesting and walkable town. And we adore the Tabor house! Couldn't ask for a better place to stay - we are soooooo comfortable in that lovely home and neighborhood. Everything is squeaky clean and it has everything we need including an amazing assortment of kitchen supplies! Thanks so much - we plan to be back next year. Wallace is our happy place and Tabor House is our home there. Love love love it!

Really enjoyed our stay at Jim’s place. The property was extremely clean and very comfortable. It had plenty of space and everything we needed for a multi-generational group of four. And the views and surroundings were spectacular. We spent as much time outside as possible despite it being unseasonably cold. All of their pets were super friendly, and we spotted lots of wildlife, as well. Jim was a fantastic host. Highly communicative/responsive and extremely friendly. Can’t recommend his place enough. Thanks, Jim, for making it a fantastic stay. Hope to be back to your gorgeous neck of the woods soon!

This was a great little place to stay at the end of some long days in the area. Susan was super accommodating when I needed to change dates!

Janet & Loren were wonderful hosts and were always available. I would be remiss if I didn’t also mention Emmett & Charlotte, their adorable and super friendly pups. We got very lucky in finding this gem of an Airbnb last minute after other arrangements fell through. The “Bunkhouse” is immaculate, the king bed is extremely comfortable and I particularly loved how there were even pillows for everyone’s preference! Every detail was truly thought of here and the kitchenette was well-stocked. This was a peaceful, wonderful retreat with breathtaking views and it just felt like home. We couldn’t wait to end each day and return to our cozy place. I would 100% stay here again and again - I encourage you to do the same!

This was the perfect place for my stay in the area. Quiet and relaxing! Margery was a great host with excellent communication!

Close to downtown Kalispell. It rained most of our stay but the closed in porch was perfect and our kids didn’t mind getting a little wet on the playset. The host was accommodating and responsive with any questions that arose throughout our stay.

The place was great. Classic decor. Comfortable beds and furniture. Lots of room. We mostly hung out on the rooftop deck. Private and quiet. Thanks Jennifer!

We had a lovely stay on our first trip to Montana. Doug & Mimi were so friendly & responsive. The cabin was lovely it's small but never felt cramped even with three adults & two kids playing around. The location was so beautiful sitting out on the front porch was so peaceful. Loved how it felt so secluded & private. The location is worth the little extra drive & even that is not long of a drive to Whitefish & other attractions. The cookies & lemonade were a sweet touch after the long drive. The cake Mimi made for my daughter's birthday was such a thoughtful touch. My son says he wants to come back to Montana & stay with Doug & Mimi again! Oh & pay for the breakfast at least one day if you stay! it's so worth the money, it fed us for two days & was delicious!
