Beachfront holiday rental in Sandy Bay

The condo was very nice with great ocean views, being located right on iron shore. Great to watch the ship traffic during morning coffee or evening sun downers. Location is ideal - in a nice peaceful residential neighborhood, but only a 5’ walk to the shops/restaurants/bars of west end. Also, there are some places that are even closer (Stowaway, Paolo’s, Loretta’s). Definitely no need for a car (unless you plan on heading to the east end of the island…). Kitchen is well set up. Highlight for me was the multiple coffee prep methods (moka pot, French press, drip). Awesome to have a good cup of coffee while watching the cruise ships go by in the morning.

Jennifer and Tommy were amazing host, arranged pick up at airport, greeted us when we arrived and provided numerous helpful suggestions. Loved sitting on the porch drinking our morning coffee watching macaws and hummingbirds forage in nearby trees. Snorkeled every morning at turtle bay saw many species of fish, rays, lobsters. Loved taking the water taxi to West bay and West end. Highly recommend the fire show at Bannarama on Sunday it was amazing. So many great restaurants to choose from. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Thank you again Jennifer and Tommy, looking forward to returning again someday.

We had a wonderful stay at the Calabash Reef House! You can see the ocean through the swaying palm trees and hear the waves. The reef just off the shared dock is beautiful. The neighbors are super friendly and helpful. A few things to know: You must have a 4x4 or AWD to get to the house (or a motorbike). There are several very steep hills once you leave the main road. If you have a pet hair allergy this is not a good place to stay - there is a lot of cat hair in every nook and cranny. The water can be rather tricky if you are there in the dry season. You will need to be very frugal and keep a close eye on tank levels. In order to fill the tanks you will need to turn the pump on and off twice a week at set times - and they don't always get full. This little neighborhood is very isolated. It is at least a 20-minute drive to a restaurant and there are not many restaurants on the east end. If you want nightlife stay on the west end. Personally, we like the quiet of the east end.

Husky Hideaway Apartments are a wonderful place to stay!! Caroline was extremely helpful before and during our stay with helping us organize activities and a driver. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and it was a GREAT location; close enough to walk into town for diving, shopping, and restaurants, but just far enough away that it was very quiet from the “main strip” hustle. We would definitely stay here again! We are not “resort people” and this was perfect and homey and allowed us to really have a comfortable place to come home to after diving and exploring!

In the heart of our favorite neighborhood on Roatan. Brand new and spotlessly clean. Brian was responsive and friendly as was his management service. No need for a car. Great restaurants, dive shops and swimming beach. Would prefer the upper suite if available for better view and more privacy, especially from street and security lights at night

The home is even more stunning in person than in the photos. The master bedroom is spacious and gorgeous, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The downstairs bedrooms are a bit darker, but our kids didn’t mind at all—they absolutely loved their space. One of the highlights of our trip was being able to snorkel right off the front of the house, which was an amazing experience. We also booked a snorkeling trip with Joe, who picked us up right from the house by boat and took us to swim with nurse sharks—an unforgettable adventure! The road leading to the house is unpaved, but we had no trouble getting there in a small SUV—just take it slow. The airport is about 30 minutes away, and Eldon’s grocery store is a convenient 15-minute drive. Dave, the property manager, was always nearby and super helpful whenever we needed anything.

Another review said the vibe was better in person and they were 100% correct! The vibes are great The house is really well kept and functional. AC kept the bedroom nice and cool for sleeping. I found opening the porch doors and living room windows with the fans on kept that area at a reasonable temperature. Housekeeping was done every day and lots of towels were provided (no beach towels though). They have shampoo, conditioner, body soap and lotion in the bathroom. The porch was EVERYTHING! I laid in the hammock every night and read. The breeze out there was lovely. One day it stormed all day and it was nice to lay in the hammock reading and listening to the sound of the storm. The location is right in the middle of west end and yet the bedroom is quiet! I always travel with earplugs, in case, but only one night I could slightly hear some bass from a near by club, and even then I didn’t need my ear plugs. The also arranged an airport transfer for $30 each way.

If you’re looking for a home to relax and enjoy an amazing view this is the place. The house slept 7 of us comfortably. Nice common spaces yet still private. Well equipped kitchen where we made a lot of meals. Grocery only 10-15 min away. The cove restaurant next door was nice for dinner and drinks and even live music. The dive shop is located there too and can arrange dives. Snorkel trips, fishing . Anything you ask. The pool made for relaxing days soaking up the sun while looking f at paradise. From the time we arrived at the airport until the time we left, Salome made everything effortless . She provided us with rental cars (recommend), drove us to a catamaran tour and waited for us all day, and offered tons on information about the island . She was always just a text away. If you’re looking for a great time , a great house, and a great host this is it! Ps- if you see Gretchen (pup that lives on island) give her a hug, an ear scratch , and some food for me 💕

Loved this place! By far my best experience I’ve had on Airbnb. Bruce’s condo is by far the best place in all of Infinity Bay Resort! You can’t beat the location. Top of the line amenities and furnishings. One of a kind place that will blow your mind. 10 out of 10 🙌🏻. Totally recommend! Can not wait to return. Way to go Bruce.

This house was AMAZING!! The perfect quiet location, incredibly clean, and felt very safe. The house was well stocked with all the amenities, had excellent AC and was meticulously maintained, we would absolutely stay again!

The place honestly was better than expected. The pictures didn’t do it justice, it was a beautiful location. You felt like you’re in a tropical rainforest. The beach is so close. Susan was super responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay immensely. I would definitely book again.

Hi place was great! Carla and the crew were great at welcoming us! Felt very safe. Convenient location to airport allthough I recommend a car or mode of transportation. Great dock , deck, pool and right in the beach and water. About 10 minute drive from West End with many restaurants and some night life. Some live music and great sunsets!! Loved it so much I came back! Great space, very comfortable and good location -And extremely well equipped!

We loved our stay here! It was great to have the space of a condo but be able to use the amenities of the resort. They also offered us housekeeping services which was so great. Also had a full kitchen,fridge. The beach club was a 3 min walk and a great spot to hang out with food and drinks. Easy to get water taxis to west end to and from their private dock. We did lose water/power for a few hours. But they communicated well. But overall such a great spot. We will be back.

From our first communication, I was very pleased with the level of communication. Vanessa (property manager) was the main POC once the booking was confirmed and was amazing. The proximity to the dive centre 200ft was amazing and made it super easy. Vanessa brought over her own coffee grinder to support us and helped book our excursions and rides. The location is amazing as we were on the reef and could swim out to see an abundance of fish and undersea creatures!!! There are fins, floaters and kayaks to use as well. The house was very large with every amenity, pot and pan you need.

La casa de playa de Ryan es un lugar muy bonito, relajante y tranquilo. Todo estaba bastante limpio, está muy bien equipado (juegos de mesa, suficientes toallas, electrodomésticos, utensilios para cocinar, Kayaks, etc), los aires acondicionados funcionan muy bien. Tiene una excelente vista al mar, sin embargo hay que tener en cuenta que no se puede bañar en el área que está frente a la casa, ya que es poco profundo (el agua llega a los tobillos), pero si usas los kayaks y avanzas unos 100 metros a la derecha, puedes nadar en el área de los manglares, donde el nivel del agua es más profundo, color azul turquesa. También mencionar que Ryan siempre estuvo atento sobre nuestra estadía y Kendra es una persona muy amable, nos obsequió unas ricas donas hechas en casa, que estaban deliciosas. Definitivamente recomiendo este alojamiento y espero volver pronto.

This place was awesome. I especially liked waking every morning to a beautiful ocean view ! The small cafe down the street was great for breakfast. Food at Lorettas was good as well. We did not eat at the gastropub as it really was so small and you needed reservations and there are so many good places in town. Yahongreh or Sandy Buns for breakfast, Gingers or Booty Bar (a little loud) for lunch. Best supper we had was at The Drunken Sailor. The wagon with the beach chairs and flotation things were a great bonus! We felt like locals walking down with our cool stuff. Snorkeling in front of Gingers is awesome. Make sure and take a water taxi to Igabari for a spectacular meal !!! Thank you for a great stay!

This place was clean and walking distance from the beach, restaurants, and mini market. Apart from a excellent property, the host was accomodating and very responsive. During our stay we experienced "Hurricane Sara", this property kept my family safe! I love it here. I'm definitely coming back!

The best vacation rental we could have found on all of Roatán!

We booked this place because of it's location and the fantastic reviews and it did not disappoint. As many others have said, Zorro is an excellent host. He is very responsive to messages, coordinates pick up to and from the airport, and is always available to make sure you have an amazing stay. He quickly became like family, always greeting us with a smile and offering suggestions for resturants, excursions, and will help hook you up with some of the locals to easily arrange water taxis and tours that will immerse you in the local culture. The house was perfect for our family of 3 and we felt at home during our entire stay. Well stocked with anything you could need including drinking water. The location is the real highlight. It is perfectly situated between West Bay and West End and private and secluded. The beach is just steps from the back porch with lounge chairs, a covered bar area, and a dock for water taxi access. The property is just so beautiful and relaxing. We will be back.

We stayed at Casa Azul for 8 days and the house was beautiful. Catrina arranged all of our transfers to and from the airport which included a stop at the grocery store to get food and drinks for the week. Upon arrival we were met by a key holder who was very nice and asked if we had any questions about the house. The house is in a quiet location with perfect views of the Caribbean Sea and only a 5 to 10 minute walk on the beach to the West End where all the shops and restaurants are located. We spent the week scuba diving and used the dive shop located next to the house. Blue Moon Scuba was great and the diving was incredible. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed for the week. We loved everything about Casa Azul and I would highly recommend this house for a great vacation. Thank you Catrina!
