Private Suite for your relaxing Peninsula escape

AnandRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had a wonderful stay here. The property is truly a hidden gem, with a beautiful garden that’s perfect for relaxing in the mornings or winding down in the evenings. The view from the house is absolutely stunning—whether it’s sunrise or sunset, the scenery is peaceful and picturesque. Jill was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. They were always available for questions and gave great local tips as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat. Whether you’re traveling alone, as a couple, or with family, this Airbnb offers comfort, beauty, and genuine hospitality. Don’t miss the chance to stay here—you’ll leave refreshed and inspired.

New luxury waterfront accommodation

CynthiaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
One of my family’s favorite stays and extremely comfortable. Bjorn greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour, including how to use the heated floors in the bathrooms! He is friendly and my family enjoyed chatting with him. The location is stunning, across the street from the bay and a walking/biking path. Everything in the unit is expertly furnished. The couches are very comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom was spacious and had enough counter space for everyone’s toiletries. This was also the only place we stayed that had a dryer. There is another Airbnb upstairs who we saw park shortly after us but we didn’t hear anything. Another unit is next door on the first floor (well separated by a divider on the patio) but we didn’t see or hear anything during our stay. Overall great place and we were sad to leave after 1 night. The peninsula drive there is beautiful too.

Sunny Stylish Spectacular views

MichaelRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Great location out on Otaga peninsula with beautiful views over the water. Secluded and peaceful and great for accessing all the wildlife activities on the peninsula while still being a short drive into city. Everything matched photos and nice having nespresso machine and milk frother for quick cappuccinos in morning while watching sunrise over water. We did have one small issue with hot water on 2nd morning (only one of 3 could take hot shower) but then no issue 3rd day. We believe it may have been because we did several loads of laundry night before and hot water tank may not have refilled sufficiently overnight. Tracey was very responsive and again was just a temporary issue but maybe keep an eye on laundry timing in mind. Of all the places we stayed on the South Island, this was the family favorite, given the location and views. Would highly recommend staying here and look forward to staying on return trip!

Ever stayed in an award winning glasshouse?

BethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
During our full-time travels we tend to seek out lodging that is unique, and the old converted Sunday school hall/now glasshouse was just that! Tessa is an exceptional host. We spent a wonderful evening with her learning about the transformation of this beautiful space. Furnishings are stylish and very comfortable. Location is in a quiet residential neighborhood, just a 5-10 minute drive to the St. Clair beach area, downtown Dunedin or the start of the scenic Otago Peninsula drive.

Beautiful views, style and comfort

TimRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a funeral to attend and it's associated social events. We were able to arrive way later than expected due top Air NZ's efforts to cope with the weather disrupting intended flights. A phone call to Richelle, who was out of the area at the time, kept her informed of our changed plans and she arranged for the cottage to be dusted above and beyond the norm as my wife suffers from dust and smell allergies, and the heating and lights were on so that when we did arrive it was totally welcoming and supportive. My wife did fine the smell of the diffuser to much but that was easily remedied. I found poerating the key lock box a little difficult and, sadly left it with the outside cover dangling from one corner. My apologies. I was unable to relock the front door key in its box but left it on the internal hook. Again, apologies and I hope you found it ok. We loved staying there and will recommend it to anyone of our friends or family intending to visit the area. Thank you, Richelle and Tea
