The new refuge is located at 1100 m above sea level in the Türnitz Alpen 1 ½ hours from Vienna. In the middle of the 2500 ha Isbary Bioland natural resort on the Geissenbergalm. About 700 m above the Geissenberg alpine hut and can only be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. Enjoy peace, solitude, and 360-degree panoramic views. You will need your own sleeping bag and a linen sheet. You can also borrow a cabin sleeping bag from us, blankets available. In winter, longer arrival in snow conditions!

We have carefully restored the historic winegrower's house: that's why there are uneven walls, vaulted ceilings and thick walls.
