In Santa Cruz, you will find a variety of services, bars, restaurants, cafes and the beach.

Fast reliable WiFi (~100Mbps) is available. The beach is 500 metres away (5 minute walk) and the centre of Machico, with restaurants, cafés and shops, is only a couple of minutes away on foot.
