Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Santa Luce

Posto tranquillo e rilassante, perfetto per una rigenerazione. In quei luoghi si torna indietro nel tempo a quando eravamo piccoli, il tempo rallenta ed é piacevole apprezzare stupendi panorami e le architetture del paese. La casa é ben tenuta, pulita e carina e la signora Claudia molto disponibile. Torneremo.

Hands down our favorite part of our two weeks in Italy! Casa Al Poggio was our Tuscan home away from home. We went and did all the things… Florence, Cinque Terre, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, etc. But coming “home” to this place was the best. So peaceful and picturesque looking across the valley at the Badia Di Passignano. We cooked many meals in the well stocked kitchen and my husband loved the rustic BBQ. Fresh herbs in the garden and the smell of jasmine blooming on the patio. Book yourself extra time here…you won’t want to leave! Emanuele & Tamara are the kindest people. Take them up on all of their restaurant recommendations. Everyone one was a hit! We can’t wait to go back.

Wir waren heuer zum zweiten mal bei Maria und Massimo und kommen sicher nächstes Jahr wieder. Wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Ruhe ,die wunderschöne Natur und Landschaft herrlich! Massimo ist so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Danke und auf baldiges Wiedersehen!

Amazing location and responsive host. Incredible pool with an outstanding view. House, especially the Kitchen, was well well stocked with amenities needed. Highly recommended!

Wir waren für knapp drei Wochen mit unserer 10 Monate alten Tochter in der Wohnung von Franco und Gracia und hatten eine großartige Zeit dort. Das Haus liegt günstig für Ausflüge im Norden der toscana, gleichzeitig aber ruhig und friedlich an einem Berg in der Natur; man hat einen tollen Blick und einen tollen Garten! Die Wohnung selber ist genau wie auf den Bildern beschrieben; gemütlich, mit ausreichendem Platz und einer wirklich gut ausgestatteten Küche. Mit dem eigenen Garten hat man viel privaten Raum. Franco und seine Frau waren herausragende Gastgeber. Sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Auch die Anweisungen, um die Wohnung zu erreichen, waren klar und verständlich. Einziger kleiner Nachteil an der tollen Lage am Berg ist, dass man schlecht zu Fuß (gerade mit Kinderwagen) von dort wegkommt, sondern immer mit dem Auto fahren muss. Insgesamt sind wir absolut zufrieden und können diesen Geheimtipp voll und ganz empfehlen; wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub

Ein Toskanischer Traum. An manchen Tagen musste ich mich kneifen um zu begreifen das ich nicht in einem Film bin. Meine Freundin und ich haben eine wunderbare Zeit in der Region und auch im Haus gehabt. Es war sauber und ordentlich. Die Küche war einzigartig und wir haben gerne auch draußen gegrillt. Wir haben es einfach genossen und uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Endlich mal Entspannung und Ruhe, die man nur noch selten erlebt. Vielen Dank für das Vertrauen über dieses wunderbare Stückchen Toskana. Für alle Ruhe suchenden oder Menschen die wirklich erleben wollen was Toskanischer Flair bedeutet ein Pflichtziel. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful Airbnb which was thoughtfully restored to reflect the history of the area. You won’t want to leave. We explored Certaldo Alto and Montefioralle- both amazing sites. The pool area was perfection and we couldn’t get enough of the landscape! Couldn’t stayed a week!!!

We loved it here! It was such a sweet little home and so beautiful. The views are amazing and our host was so kind. She gave us a great dinner recommendation and was helpful with any questions we had! Great stay would recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Best place to stay!!! The charm of property draws you in immediately! A lovely garden, fresh flowers in the apartment, stunning views of San Gimignano. We loved the touches of old Italy everywhere (with the subtle inclusion of modern flair). And the little extras - a beautiful homemade tart welcomed us, as well as fresh fruit, juices, coffee and creamers and a few more fun surprises! Fabio and Alessandra are fabulous hosts - always answering any of our questions and having excellent advice on where to eat and things to do! The location is perfect for day trips to many of the Tuscan and Chianti region towns. And so lovely to come back to the charm of Fabio and Alessandra’s place. Grazie mille!!!

Clara war eine wunderbare Gastgeberin - freundlich, hat beim verspäteten Check-in auf uns gewartet, alles in der Wohnung erklärt. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben - super Lage, um die Stadt zu erkunden, die Terrasse ist zu jeder Tageszeit nutzbar, weil es zwei Schirme gibt. Und drin ist es gemütlich, sauber, genug Schränke - alles da. Sehr gern kommen wir wieder, wenn wir mal in der Nähe sind.

Top locatie, met prima voorzieningen. Het uitzicht is prachtig en een dikke plus voor de privé kookles! Niet twijfelen, gewoon boeken.

Wir haben unsere 4 Wochen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen ruhigen Unterkunft sehr genossen. Der Außen- und Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt. Sollten im zweiten Appartement Gäste sein, kann man sich dennoch sehr gut zurück ziehen und die Stille genießen. Für Kinder gibt es genügend Spielgeräte die mit genutzt werden können. Spędziliśmy w tym domu cały tydzień. Bardzo miło wspominamy pobyt. Claudio był pomocny i wytłumaczył nam wszystkie kwestie związane z zamieszkaniem. Gospodarz czekał w miejscowości obok. Było to ważne ponieważ droga dojazdowa jest specyficzna. Ogólnie zalecam auto z wysokim i dobrym zawieszeniem, ewentualnie 4x4. Są spore koleiny i dziury (były akurat poprawiane podczas naszego urlopu) i na pewno stanowi to wyzwanie dla zwykłych aut czy suvów. Droga jest szutrowa. Nam akurat się to podobało i mieliśmy frajdę w jeździe naszym autem terenowym. Jeżeli chodzi o dom to jest to przepiękna, stara i klimatyczna nieruchomość. Styl widać na zewnątrz i w środku. Świetny basen. Piękne widoki i otoczenie. Kwintesencja Toskanii. Dobra baza wypadkowa na wycieczki. Nie zmieniłbym tam nic. Wyposażenie jest kompletne. Czystość również bez zastrzeżeń. Ogólnie top!

We loved our stay in Volterra. If anything, we wished we had booked a longer stay. The Airbnb was wonderful. It’s on three floors as described, so be ready for the stairs. Don’t worry… they’ll get you ready for the climbs around Volterra. Otherwise, the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s spacious and has all of the needed amenities. Volterra is a walkable city, and this spot allowed us to get to everything with ease. It’s on a quiet street, but still close to everything. Perfect. As a traveler’s note, if you take the bus into town, take it all the way to the end of the line. We got off at the earlier spot to save us some walking, but that earlier stop was not a good one! Trust me.

Die Unterkunft lag sehr privat am Dorfrand. Man muss mit dem Auto einen schmalen, kurvigen und teilweise steilen Weg entlang fahren. Zum Glück gab es nie Gegenverkehr und die Nachbarn verhielten sich zuvorkommend. Dafür ist der Außenbereich sehr ruhig und idyllisch, fast paradiesisch. Das Highlight ist der private Pool mit zauberhafter Aussicht. Die Gastgeber wohnen direkt unter der Wohnung, aber das ist ein Vorteil, da es die Kommunikation sehr erleichtert. Außerdem haben sie zwei tolle Hunde. Mirko hat uns gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Parkmöglichkeiten gegeben, was unseren Urlaub bereichert hat. Die Wohnung hat eine ausreichende Größe und sie ist so eingerichtet, dass man sich direkt zuhause fühlt. Alles in allem hatten wir einen tollen Urlaub und die Unterkunft hat einen großen Teil dazu beigetragen.

Sehr schönes Airbnb, perfekt um den Urlaub zu genießen! Alles war wie beschrieben, Annamaria und ihr Bruder waren gut zu erreichen falls Fragen waren. Es gibt viel zu sehen in der Umgebung von Pisa bis Florenz und auch das Meer ist nahegelegen.

Wow-10 days spent at Alec's villa and could have stayed longer! The age and beauty of this place makes you feel transported back in time. From the stone walls, the detailed wall paintings, furniture and decor, to the solid doors easily hundreds of years old... We spent hours just speaking of it's history. The house is clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for our family of 8. It is situated on a small family vineyard at the top of an incredibly windey road. There outdoor space was safe/secluded for my kids. The hill made for wonderful beautiful views and sunrise. However, as with much of Tuscany, we were glad our rental cars weren't too big! The closest town is 5 minutes away and has a few restaurants... Though not somewhere you can have coffee or walk the streets. About 15 minutes away is San Casciano where you can find coffee shops, restaurants, stores etc. Alec is a perfect host... helpful, responsive, and answered dozens of questions weekly. Book dinner at A Casa Mia for sure!

Die herrliche Aussicht kann man sowohl als Paar, als auch mit Freund*innen wunderbar genießen. Es ist sehr ruhig und an allem gedacht worden: draußen gibt es sehr bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten, einen Grill und Pool. Im Garten duftet es überall nach Jasmin. Auch innen fehlt an nichts. Das Haus ist perfekt und befindet sich am perfekten Ort. Nach 20 Minuten Autofahrt erreicht man San Gimignano. Einfach ein Traum und immer wieder eine Reise wert 😍

Giuliani is a wonderful host who made us feel as if this slice of paradise was our home, too. The location, the meticulously restored home, the views all make for the ultimate Tuscan experience. But Giuliani and her husband bring it all together with their warmth and attentiveness. It was a tough place to say goodbye to — for now. If you are looking for a Tuscan experience, this is it. And remember to ask for the hosts’ home-cooked meal. It is a culinary experience in the very best sense.

The place was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The location was perfect for spending time with the family in a private setting but being close enough to the local town. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Our Villa in Montespertoli was everything we could have wished for and more, full of all the modern conveniences required to cook if desired. The grounds were absolutely delightful and the hillside backdrop of grapevines etc was stunning to wake up to every morning in a secluded and peaceful place. We enjoyed many mornings having coffee around the poolside deck and afternoons sharing a glass of wine chatting with our friends after our many touring adventures. You definitely need to have a car to enjoy this Villa and surrounding areas like Pisa, Siena, hot Springs, San Gimignano to name a few. Our Caretaker Lia cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan dinner to share on our last night which we enjoyed immensely. Thankyou for hosting us in your home, we didn’t want to leave.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe von Freunden dort und hatten einen super schönen Urlaub! Der Gastgeber Juri war sehr freundlich und hat sofort auf Fragen geantwortet. Das Haus war groß und bestens ausgestattet. Im Haupthaus und im kleineren Haus am Pool gab es jeweils eine Küche. Man kann auf der Terrasse sehr schön mit allen zusammen essen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Zum nächsten Supermarkt fährt man knappe 10min, nach Lucca ins Stadtzentrum 15min und ca. 30min nach Pisa. Für uns war die Lage perfekt. Vor Ort ist es ruhig und wir hatten keine direkten Nachbarn.

Leonardo, Lisa, & Nonna Sylvana all went the extra mile to make things run smoothly for us. With the welcoming torta & pizza, & the homemade lasagna a few days later, we were able to get by with very few groceries for the week. The villa & surroundings are incredible! The house is immaculate & well supplied. We didn't have a car but having one would have been nice to reach the surrounding area. We navigated the bus system that is available & it took us awhile to figure it out, but once learned, we were able to get to & from Florence. We walked to & from Impruneta which was further away than we realized. It's a bit tricky with no sidewalks, so we had to be careful. (Note: No taxis were available.) We splurged on a winery tour through Tours of Tuscany that picked us up & dropped us off at the villa, & drove us to 2 different wineries & San Gimignano. Amazing! Communication with our host was easy, very pleasant, & timely. We'd love to return & spend even more time there some day.
