Our house is a traditional hacienda-type house. The guest bedrooms have their only entries through the outside patio. The private heated pool awaits for a relaxing swim after a full day exploring ruins or touring the nearby pueblos! Lachigolo is a small and peaceful pueblo, about a 15-minute drive from Oaxaca along the Pan American Highway, and around 5 minutes past El Tule. The location makes it a good base for day trips to places like Hierve al Agua, Teotitlan, and Mitla.

Ancient mountains rise majestically on the valley's horizon, framing the striking views from the Hacienda. Spaniards built this unique dwelling in 1643 as a granary. It sits atop a nearly 400-year-old foundation on 2 ½ acres that back onto a tranquil nature reserve that you're welcome to explore.
