I had a wonderful stay! Olides and Sandra were welcoming from the very beginning. Communication was smooth and quick, and they to made sure we had everything we needed. They provided great local tips and reacted flexible and friendly to a spontaneous change in our Booking. Thanks for that again! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described, located in a quiet neighbourhood we were able to rest from our hikes. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a truly caring host.

If you love nature and peace, then you will love this listing. The property and its surroundings are beautiful. There is a local coffee shop nearby. It felt we were the only tourist in the neighborhood. The hosts are very nice, showed us everything, were responsive and gave us tips about nearby stores and restaurants. You can hike at the property and continue along the nearby levada trail. Parking is included at the property. The place was very cleaned and organized. I’ll be booking here again when I return to Madeira.

Great place to stay in the north of the island. Very clean and tidy. Good location on the outskirts of Santanas. Direct location above a small bar - unfortunately a bit noisy in the morning when the first locals arrive and talk loudly (bedroom directly above the bar). You can conveniently park in front of the accommodation. Kitchen: well equipped - we would have liked a few spices and a kitchen towel. If you buy all that and don't use it, it's a shame. We left our rest there.

Where do I start, Leandro’s hosting simply made our trip to Madeira. He has created a surfers heaven with the studio, with surfboard storage, super comfy bed, nice, clean and modern amenities and a trendy bathroom with a real special view - wow. The studio is perfect for a couple, close to the surf but also close to everything you want and need to explore in Madeira. I couldn’t recommend it more. Leandro - The host and founder of the accommodation needs a special recognition, he is kind, gentle, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. We ran out of coffee and before I knew it he was at the door with fresh coffee to replace, amazing service. Thank you got a perfect stay. Would give 6 stars if I could.

A truly beautiful place to stay, so quiet and peaceful. I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of my trip and it was a wonderful end to a lovely adventure. The accommodation is perfect, you can sit in the sun, go for a walk, and admire the local fruit trees. It is very clean and has all the facilities you need. It is also situated in a great location which provides access to lots of places. The host is very responsive and has great communication. I would definitely stay here again, thank you 🙂

Well what can I say about abor villa- By far the best air bnb we have ever stayed in. Absolutely exceptional and decorated beautifully, so artistic and clean and akin to a boutique hotel. Emma was a fantastic host, she made the whole stay exceptional for our young family. Personal touches such as a mini chair for our two year old with suitable cutlery, cups etc ready for us, even taking the trouble to remove the legs of the children’s bed so not too high from the ground. She provided a box of toys for our children and ensured staples were ready for us after a late flight so that the children had food and milk- something we whole heartedly appreciated. The position of the villa was ideal- close to the capital, excellent views , close to restaurants and local towns and ideally situated so easy to get to the northern sites of the island which really wasn’t far when renting a car. Emma was easily reachable and offered lots of recommendations. The pool and views exceptional, we will return!

The accommodation was lovely and really felt like a traditional Portuguese village. I loved waking up to birds singing from one window and roosters from another — it made the stay feel very authentic. Everything was just as I expected. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed to cook comfortably. It was also very convenient to have a washing machine, and as expected, there was a hairdryer available. The accommodation itself is spacious, and there is a large terrace, which was really enjoyable. Carolina was super friendly and helpful. Her instructions with pictures were very clear and made it easy for me to find the accommodation on my own. She was also very kind to allow me to check in earlier than the usual time, which I really appreciated. She gave me great advice and shared some useful links that I actually used during my stay. Overall, it was a wonderful stay — I’d definitely recommend this place!

Paula and Dustin were very welcoming and us feel right at home. Lovely cosy stay with a magnificent view, especially during sunset and sunrise. Would recommend if you're looking for a place to come to peace, chill and enjoy life! Great hosts and great place!
