Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Santiago

The place was spacious, way larger than the photos present. It was a lovely surprise. The house, community and host welcomed us as if we were family. The host was very communicative and helpful. The neighborhood is walkable, peaceful, safe, beautiful, with a beach up the road. There are restaurants around and stores walking distance. We are very lucky and grateful to have found this place and definitely recommend!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette petite maison authentique dans la vallée de Picos. Un endroit paisible où règne la simplicité. De plus, les petits plats de Lina, nous ont régalés. Nous avons découvert la cuisine traditionnelle Capverdienne. Lina est une voisine discrète et soucieuse du bien-être des hôtes. Nos enfants prenaient plaisir à accompagner son mari nourrir les animaux. Bref un endroit avec une belle âme.

We enjoyed the quiet stay at Dinohelders place in the hills of Santiago. The house has a very tasty interior design and we felt at home from the beginning. The garden is beautiful with all the plants and the pergola is beautiful. People living around the area are super helpful and friendly. You'll see all kinds of farm animals around the property. There are nice hiking opportunities available right from the house. Thanks again for letting us stay at this beautiful place.

The place is very big and looks like the pictures. The house is well located close to the beach and restaurants and supermarkets. The host was communicative and helped with additional arrangements like airport pick ups. Thank you for the stay!

Nossa estadia na casa da Filipa foi simplesmente sensacional, uma das melhores experiência que ja tive no Airbnb. Desde o início, ela foi extremamente atenciosa e prestativa, nos ajudando a resolver tudo que precisávamos com rapidez e simpatia. A casa estava brilhando, limpa, bem cuidada e com todos os detalhes pensados para o conforto dos hóspedes. Um destaque especial vai para a flexibilidade da Filipa em relação aos horários… Nos permitiu aproveitar ainda mais a cidade sem pressa. Filipa realmente fez TODA diferença na viagem e somos muito gratos por isso. Recomendo de olhos fechados!!!

Roberto est un hôte très accueillant, disponible, et réactif. De plus, il parle bien le français et saura vous conseiller. Le resto est ouvert tous les jours et propose de très bons plats, à des prix abordables. On ne peut que recommander Big Lanche et Roberto ! Et quand les travaux de la route seront terminés, ce sera encore plus rapide d'y accéder.

A friend and I stayed at Maria's place as we were visiting Calheta for the first time. From my initial outreach to Maria, she was always responsive and very accommodating. Maria and her family were very welcoming and friendly. They hosted us for a lovely breakfast and a few unexpected friends even came over. Maria's place is in a very walkable area and close to a beautiful cliff over looking the ocean. Highly recommend.

Wir waren 12 Tage in Tarrafal. Super Unterkunft, gehobene Ausstattung. Schöne Terrasse mit tollem Blick auf die Bucht von Tarrafal und am Abend herrliche Sonnenuntergänge.

If you’re looking for a travel home away from home , this place is 100% peaceful and comfortable to stay in . You’ll settle in immediately and feel at home, the view from your balcony is a beautiful picture you’ll take back with you forever . The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet also…mostly easy to locate and yes there’s a walkable distance to some popular restaurants and beaches and high end chill out spots ….you’ll find the back end road. My experience visiting for the first time was great, the apartment is so clean and stylish as you’d have imagined and looked just as listed. The host is very responsive anytime you need some assistance plus the young man assisting for errands MUSA is a wonderful human being to get to know. I will visit here anytime I have the opportunity if it’s available . Never miss a wonderful time at Samuels .

Luis was responsive and a great host. He managed our transport from airport to accommodation. The place was really good for that price. Spacious and clean flat.

Natacha est une super hôte, sympathique et agréable. Elle est venue nous chercher à l' aéroport avec son mari et nous avons fait un petit tour de voiture pour nous montrer les différentes plages. Elle a aidé mon mari pour mettre une carte Sim pour le téléphone en se rendant avec lui dans une boutique spécialisée. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Natacha au calme et l appartement est bien situé pour prendre les transports avec des restaurants et magasins alimentaire à proximité. Nous recommandons

Wij verbleven tien dagen bij Mickael en van aankomst tot vertrek waren we zeer tevreden. We kwamen vrij laat in de avond aan, maar dat was geen enkel probleem. Hij nam alsnog de tijd om ons hartelijk te verwelkomen en gaf ons een rondleiding door het huis. Tijdens ons verblijf was hij altijd beschikbaar wanneer we hem nodig hadden – echt top! Het huis is ruim, schoon en aangenaam koel op warme dagen. Daarnaast was er ook een babybedje geregeld voor onze zoon, wat erg fijn was. Als we opnieuw op vakantie gaan naar Praia, zullen we zonder twijfel weer voor dit appartement kiezen!

La casa si trova poco distante dal centro e dalle spiagge di Praia; entrambi possono essere raggiunti a piedi o con un taxi. Il quartiere è caratteristico e permette di vivere la realtà quotidiana della città e delle persone che la popolano. È un quartiere in cui si possono trovare bar, ristoranti e mercati nella reale tradizione della città. La posizione è anche comoda per spostamenti in auto per visitare l’isola e per il parcheggio. Ci ha accolto Lindorfo, una persona davvero simpatica e d’aiuto. Grazie!

Mon séjour chez Casa Riviera c’est très bien passer. Le logement était grand et spacieux , avec une petite terrasse mignonne. C’était propre et agréable. Point hyper avantageux, il y a une agence de location de voiture abordable juste en face ce qui est top. Je vous conseille de prendre une voiture sur 3-4 jours pour visiter à votre rythme l’ensemble de l’île. La plage est à 10 minutes environ à pieds. Je recommande :) Également, il a pas mal d’épicerie à proximité donc c’est top. Point restaurant : il y a un brunch à proximité Adèle bon rapport qualité prix.

UN BIJOUX ! L’appartement de rêve ! Super confortable, très bien décoré, accessible à pieds ou en voiture, proche bord de mer et des restaurants. Erico est un hôte incroyable, proactif, réactif, chaleureux, accueillant et très disponible. Tout petit bémol pour la pression d’eau mais Erico a la solution à ce problème. Encore bravo et merci ! Je recommande en fermant les yeux !

nous avons passé un très bon séjour, Brett et son équipe ont répondu présent dès que nous en avons eu besoins. l'appartement est juste magnifique avec une très terrasse. la literie était très confortable. La casa está muy bien, muy limpia y ordenada, cerca de una avenida central y con una ducha que funciona. La cocina está equipada con lo necesario. Maria ha estado muy atenta a todo, y nos ha ayudado con todas nuestras preguntas. Sin embargo, si vienes en verano, hace bastante calor y no hay aire acondicionado.

I highly recommend staying at Carlos, the flat is extremely clean and we felt super comfortable. The area is safe and restaurants nearby are delicious. Carlos is a very nice and friendly person.

Nonostante la barriera linguistica Eunice si è dimostrata sempre disponibile e cordiale. L’appartamento è perfetto e la zona in cui si trova è molto tranquilla anche se un pó distante dal centro (ma in 10 minuti a piedi si arriva in un’area viva con molti taxi). Consigliato!

Je remercie Fatima qui est restée disponible tout le long de notre séjour. L’appartement est conforme à la description, la résidence est sécurisée avec gardien. Il y a des places tout autour de la résidence pour se garer. Fatima nous a laissé une place de parking au sous-sol. Je reviendrai dans ce logement si je dois revenir à l’île de Santiago,. Je le recommande, surtout si vous êtes un groupe. Ravie d’avoir été chez toi Fatima.
