We had a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived. Our welcoming host gave us a thorough walk-through of the property, and we immediately enjoyed the serene landscape and relaxing atmosphere. A highlight of our stay was the adorable goats and donkey (Bambino) in the backyard. Our children had a blast feeding and petting the animals and making priceless memories that kept them entertained for hours. We loved using the outdoor BBQ area and soaking in the pool. The peaceful landscape created the perfect backdrop for family gatherings. We also enjoyed exploring local restaurants. Our host was incredibly responsive and ensured we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. With no issues at all, the well-equipped kitchen with high-end appliances and easy laundry setup made it simple to accommodate our party of six. If you're seeking a serene beach getaway with charming features, this farmhouse is the perfect choice!

This house is beautifully located in a very quiet and private area, accessible through a dirt track for about 5 minutes of typical Alentejo surroundings: cork tree and olive tree hills, with sheep and cows roaming free. The house itself is exactly as described and as the pictures. Very comfortable for a family of four, spacious and functional. We particularly enjoyed the outdoors patio with the excellent barbeque, and the pool. We had a few issues with the pool water, which were very promptly taken care of by Sebastião. From the house, it's quick to get to the bigger town of Santiago do Cacém, where you can find everything in the daily food market, and also large supermarkets. The nearest beach is Melides, which is about 30 minutes away, then Sines, Saõ Torpes, Porto Covo and Santo André to the south, and Comporta to the north, all about a 45-minute drive away. Very nice holiday, would highly recommend.

From the moment I arrived, I felt at home, welcomed, and comfortable. The impeccable cleanliness, quality mattress, sheets, and towels were exceptional, details that are often overlooked in many places. Little touches like these make the stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the bottle of local wine, cheese, and freshly baked bread offered to me upon arrival were a lovely gesture. The ambiance of the place left me with a feeling of tranquility and well-being. I appreciate the good taste and additional amenities, such as the keyboard and mouse next to the flat-screen TV, which made it possible for me to work remotely optimally. It has been a memorable experience, and I definitely plan to repeat it in the future. Thank you very much for everything.

Without a doubt the best stay ever, not only for the space that was wonderful, but also for the friendliness and availability of the host. The house is great and decorated with immense good taste. There's everything you might need😉. The pool is perfect and the garden is well taken care of. It was a very good few days and it will be for sure to repeat. No less important... my bigudo loved it too and had plenty of room to play.

Tiago is a great host. The house has great conditions, it is very beautiful, totally renovated, with all the necessary utensils and the location is perfect for a weekend in the calm of the Alentejo.

We spent a few days in this little house and enjoyed it a lot. Check-in is uncomplicated, the Wi-Fi also works well and best is the Senhora, which takes care of the house, and thus also about us. In the garden are orange trees that now had ripe fruits. A great extra! Winters can be cold at night in Alentejo, there is a small mobile radiator and plenty of duvets. To the beaches we drove 20-25 min, small shops are 5 minutes away, larger supermarkets in Sines about 25 minutes. Overall I can recommend the house 👍🏽

The place is beautiful, peaceful what more could you ask for! If I get a chance to come back someday I'll come back.

The house is wonderful, very well equipped, clean, spacious and well decorated. The outdoor space is equally fantastic with a very nice high pool. Very peaceful, with a lot of privacy and fenced in so that the animals can be at ease (perhaps dogs that are too small can pass through the holes in the fence). There are several supermarkets within a 10-minute drive. Francisco was very easy to communicate with, gave tips on restaurants and beaches and was extremely flexible with schedules, both for check-in and check-out. I'll be back. Thank you very much.

The stay at Mariana and Pedros wonderful Villa was everything we had hoped for. For two people we had more then enough space. They live right in the same building and were super responsive and kind, but also were careful to give us space and leave us alone, to not interfere with our holiday. The pool, with the adjacent area is just fantastic. There are peacocks roaming the property and the entire estate throws you back into a different rural Portugal. The communication from Mariana was fantastic, as there was a blackout on the entire Iberia Peninsula, she was super fast to tell us what was happening, what we should do to prepare and kept us updated all through the day. And before it became night, she had a antique petroleum lamp and lots of candles for us to not stay in the dark. 10/10 would not be anywhere else during a once in decade blackout, then in Mariana and Pedros home. We thank them a lot and will keep this stay in our hearts.

We just can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The house is multi-level with several dining areas both inside and out. Well stocked kitchen and modern appliances. Beds are comfy, hot water is plentiful with great pressure. Forest views to the ocean. My husband spent hours walking through the cork forest. Complete tranquility and peace. Incredibly beautiful sand beaches 30 minutes away. The host is very responsive and helpful with many suggestions for activities in the area, complete with Google map links. Although it was just the two of us, the house is perfect for families. We dream of returning for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Andreias house. It is located rural and very quietly which we enjoyed a lot. The interior is lovingly furnished and communication with Andreia went totally well. We would love to come back one day!

Amazing stay with friends and kids. Great scenery and pool

We had a wonderful time at Herdade. Even though the weather was cold & rainy and we didn't spend as much time outdoors as we'd hoped, the house felt warm & cosy and there was lots to keep us entertained (snooker, board games, drum & guitar). João was available on WA and took the initiative to communicate with us to check everything was fine and make us feel welcome.

This house is something else, absolutely amazing. The Alentejo's regional decoration, the little details, the immaculate outside space, ping pong table, well maintained swimming pool and the fire pit, this place has it all. Hats off to the work that took to make this place so welcoming. Also a note to Edite's communication with us, helping us choosing the best route to get to the property, and suggesting local places to visit. She's been ace. The only downside is that we've only booked 2 days 😂. I'll definitely keep this one in my favourites 👌

Magnificent place in the countryside with attention to detail, curtains and very comfortable beds, a place of peace in Alentejo. Responsive host with tips on beaches and surroundings. Beautiful atmosphere and nights with a very starry sky.

The Casinha on the Lagoa is a small place with everything you need, just a few steps from the lagoon and the beach. It was very nice to spend the last two days of our trip to Portugal in this accommodation. Isabel was away for work but communication with her was very simple and Mr. Jaime was always present and very kind under all circumstances. I recommend the place to anyone looking for peace of mind and hope to get back to the casinha again!

The outdoor space is very nice and the house is small, but super cozy and more than enough, with the very well equipped kitchen. Of qualification only the mattress, which is very hard (maybe solve with a overfill), and the barbecue, where the "tools" are missing.

Very nice mountain to spend with family and friends, super quiet and welcoming. I would also like to highlight the availability of the hostess, who has always been very attentive.

We (family with children) felt very comfortable. The house is very bright, friendly, airy and generous. It is very well equipped, especially the kitchen is well equipped for a vacation home. All beds were very comfortable. Surroundings is quiet, close to nature with sheep and even vineyards. Loggia and terrace offer nice opportunities to stay outside. The road to the house is very good for an agricultural road. Communication was always very quick and very friendly. We will be happy to come back!

Great place, highly recommended.

The house was so charming and comfortable. So much nicer in person than the pictures portray. It was always a delight to come back home to this cosy little refuge. We were weather beaten after days at various stunning beaches, so coming back to the oasis of a garden and comfortable house was a delight each day. Proper furniture, to relax in, unlike some other stays, plus the house was fitted out with everything you could / would need. A real home from home. Handy amount of land in addition to the garden on the property, so our dog was happy and had plenty of room to explore, shelter and relax. The bakery in the village supplies the most amazing cakes/ treats / delights. I’d recommend anyone staying to stock up from there! Ines was super helpful and flexible. We arrived early and she was incredibly accommodating. Lots of help to find the dog friendly beaches too, so that was great. We loved this little house and it’s high timber ceilings. A very memorable stay. Thanks
