Holiday rentals with a patio in Santo António das Areias

warm welcome, I got a larger room that was free with lots of light and a large terrace. It is very quiet and private, in the vicinity of Filipa and her husband who were always ready and gave great service. Recommended!

This location is perfect if you want to drive and spend a few days exploring the Alentejo. Multiple towns are nearby. Evora is a great all day trip, including the megaliths outside of town, and you get to leave all the guided groups behind. Elvas is a wonderful town very near the border with Spain. Villa Real is a gem. Arraiolos is known for weaving rugs. Evoramonte is close by and has terrific views. All of these towns are hilltop towns with castles. The regional wine is terrific, the cork industry is fascinating, the olives, oranges, and lemons, are great, and you are in the middle of the area of marble quarrying. The towns are predominantly full of white buildings with mustard or blue trim and lot and lots of marble. Fica’s place is comfortable, quiet, and has restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, and small shops just steps away.

I loved the landscape, it is beautiful and quiet, we have a restaurant and cafe + mini market 5 km away, the space has a beautiful view with swimming pools, barbecue, good internet, thank you to Mr. Pedro, let's go back, the only thing that didn't go so well was the fishing, but it's the fishermen's fault, eh eh

Great location, convenient and comfortable

We stayed in the “wall”. It is a small but spectacular house, inside one of the most quiet and secluded areas of the castle. It has a walled courtyard, which for us was an added value since we also took our bige. In fact, ALs that accept animals are always to be congratulated because they suffer from the scarcity. The house is in an area where it is difficult to go by car (although it is possible but the streets are too narrow) and Mr Luís was very helpful to take us (to us, to our bags and to our dog) to the house at check in, which was a great help. Even so, walking access is fast. We recommend it.

The apartment is first class, well equipped and wonderfully located. The ambiance of living in this place is unique, we could hardly separate. We watched the sunset from the castle wall every night. Anabela is a top host who responds immediately and leaves no questions unanswered. I'd come back anytime and recommend this place.

We had a very enjoyable two weeks at Natalie and Simon's place. The sunsets were incredibly beautiful given the unobstructed views right from our balcony. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Our hosts made sure we were cosy and warm by heating the place for us when we got home from our daytrips in the evening. We also had a steady supply of fresh eggs, oranges and more. We recommend this place to anyone who appreciates a slower paced rural lifestyle, perfect for rest and relaxation and exploring the area.

Perfect for those looking for a few peaceful days to disconnect. Heitor and Bernardina are fantastic, they help with anything that is needed and we feel at home. These days were fantastic and we hope to return.

The homestead is truly an ex-libris from the Marvão region. Those who seek tranquility with all comfort and wrapped in the magic of the climate of the Serra do Alentejo, here you can enjoy an unparalleled peace. The house is super comfortable, well equipped and with all the requirements met to spend a few days with family or friends. The very spacious bedrooms all with well-equipped living room and kitchen, an unobstructed outdoor space with plenty of shade, and a generous pool always useful on hot days. All this in the middle of many fruit trees and with the mountains serving as a postcard. With regard to the hostess, Inês, was always very kind, worried that we would feel at home and always ready to help with any questions. Definitely an experience to repeat.

We love our stay! The house is beautiful and cosy. Just a little cold, but with heaters in every room and fireplace to keep us warm in winter. The super friendly and friendly hosts, we feel at home! The village is very welcoming and the perfect starting point for a getaway to the discovery of the treasures of the high Alentejo! ❤️

Lovely stay in Portugal. The house was in a very quiet and peacefull area, we woke up with the birds every morning. The garden is very big and has sun the whole day. The pool is actually much bigger than it looks in the pictures. We really loved our stay, the house is very private and Catia was very friendly and helpfull. Also we loved the fresh vegetables from the garden so much! Would recommend to stay with Catia when you can.

Beautiful home with lots of amenities.

Small friendly studio just lacks a little clarity but otherwise the location is very good for visiting all the cities around and the best is this large pool that allows you to cool off in the evening because it is a region where it can be very hot. There is a sunset from this property that is just beautiful!!! Thank you very much Tina!!!

We loved the stay! The house is a true haven in the middle of nature, perfect for resting and disconnecting from the world. The location, within the nature reserve, is simply wonderful. Edite was super nice and tireless. Always willing to help and made us super comfortable. I recommend it!

Beautiful space, surrounded by nature, rustic cottage in great condition, very friendly and always helpful hosts, made us feel at home. I couldn't fail to mention the friendly Nougat, the friendly farm dog, and the donkey Serafim. Very quiet place, allows you to relax. I highly recommend it.

A very comfortable and very clean place to stay. I had plenty of utensils . It had firewood available and a very comfortable beds. The accommodation is excellent.

Pete and Linda are the best hosts we've ever had on Airbnb. They both went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, from local restaurant recommendations to pool toys and everything in-between. Our daughter had an amazing holiday! The house itself is charming, with tonnes of space and everything you could need. The pool is fantastic and well kept. The local area is remote and beautiful with gorgeous countryside everywhere and some charming river beaches. I managed a run down from the house to the beach and back a couple of times but it's pretty hilly. In short, we couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks

Tireless host, a very beautiful apartment, in a traditional, charming style. The air conditioning is in progress, but it was resolved very quickly. Several good restaurants within walking distance, a quiet area and great for enjoying a few days in the Alentejo.
