Note that the island's climate is very hot and humid, which encourages the appearance of some “undesirable guests” such as cockroaches, lizards and ants. Despite quarterly pest control, in a country house it is impossible to completely eliminate these pests that proliferate across the island. To minimize the entry of these animals, keep doors and windows closed at night as they roam and fly during the night. We locals are used to all this type of wild life but we understand that you are not, so, If you are not a fan of local wildlife this is not the place for you to choose. Ilhéu at sight

Coming to S. Miguel and being able to enjoy the views that the island provides makes the experience of visiting and living on the island absolutely wonderful. Ilheus at sight provides a stay with magnificent views of the south and north sides of the island: to the south it overlooks the ocean and the Ilhéu de Vila Franca and often the island of St.a Maria; to the north and to the majestic mountains of Lagoa de Fogo. The area is extremely quiet which allows you to hear the sounds of nature inside your home. Come and visit!

The Princess Ring View

The house is located in Vila Franca do Campo and has 3 bedrooms and capacity for 6 people. The accommodation is very bright with a beautiful view of the Vila Franca Islet. The villa has a fully-equipped kitchen with various cooking equipment, such as a fridge and freezer, microwave, oven, crockery and cutlery, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher and kettle. There is also a washing machine in the accommodation. The accommodation already includes towels and bed linen for the duration of your stay.

Waterfall Life: immersed in secluded nature

A converted stone watermill at the bottom of a small valley, between two waterfalls. Walking in, you half-expect to have stepped back a century. The sound doesn't stop—it follows you to sleep and is the first thing you hear in the morning. You leave the car on an old bridge above and walk down a short rustic path; below it, the property opens up. Two villages and a small market sit a hundred meters back, reminding you civilization is still out there—but down here you're in your own world.

Strategically located in Vila Franca do Campo, in the central part of the São Miguel island, which makes it an excellent starting point for trips to every corner of the island; it is well connected by expressway with the capital of the island and with the airport (about 20 minutes by car). A lot of restaurants within a walking distance! The unique microclimate makes the town extremely sunny.

Our place has great views, is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. We love this house because of the ocean view and the sound of the ocean. Our house is cozy and was recently renovated. We put a lot of work and love into this house and are happy to share it with our family and friends. The house is nicknamed the love shack for it's appeal and charm. It is good for couples, family of four or solo adventurers, We hope you enjoy this gem as much as we do.

Recovered house (old winery), integrated into a 5,000 m2 farm, with a wide variety of citrus and other crops. Great garden, overlooking the sea and the mountains.
