Holiday houses in Satkhol

Perfect staycation for our family and our 2 dogs who enjoyed the lawn area more than anything. Pramod is the star of the show who is an amazing cook and was very supportive throughout our stay. The property is home away from home and should be treated like so. If you travel during summers, Pramod will be kind to bring the local variety of berries. A local market and petrol pump is only 5 mins drive away but you would still be able to enjoye the peacefulness of the mountain.

We had a nice and comfortable stay at the property, as it is situated almost at the hilltop with fruit farms all around, providing peace and solitude. The views of The Himalayas are mesmerizing along with the experience of watching the 'Golden Hour' while listening to the chirping of the birds. All our needs were well taken care of by the staff, having polite and helpful nature. Last but not the least, our host Shalini, made sure our stay was comfortable, and provided information about the nearby places to visit. Regards

Every detail of the home reflects care, warmth, and a deep appreciation for the surroundings, making it not just a place to stay, but a place to reconnect, unwind, and be inspired. Thank you for sharing this special haven with us—it was an unforgettable experience. We were there for good 3 days and never felt bored. The 2 adorable dogs just add more to this, my daughter simply couldn't get over them and she missed them all her way back :) We look forward to come back to this in case Ramgarh becomes a destination again ... Complete value for money (you could have charged even more lol ).

It is very rare that you find a stay where you come out feeling warmer and inspired. Manzar is that rarity. The place is picture perfect! The views are stunning. The house is surrounded by nature and flowers but not in the curated way. Waking up to the bird songs is magical. Rooms are beautifully designed and every small corner is a piece of art. All your needs are considered and provided for. But what makes the place that rarity is our host, Achla ji and her people. She is warm, considerate, kind, patient, fiercely independent and progressive. As if that wasn't enough, she is an outstanding cook! Then there is Jaya didi. Her help. A warm and loving person. Always ready with a smile and a chat. Dinesh bhaiya is a mostly quite and yet forever eager to help young man. And then there is Coffee! The resident dog. I don't think I've seen a calmer and sweeter pupper! Loves attention and pets and fetch. I think we left a part of our hearts with her. Cannot wait to go back!

Our stay there was really peaceful & lovely. The place is nestled away in a small town away from the touristy city of Nainital. It is a little far away from the main city but our host Megha was super helpful & helped us navigate our way to the property. Then the place itself is pretty cozy & you have your own little space with the majestic view of the Himalayas. Megha’s parents are a bunch of super sweet & warm people, they’ll help you in every way they can. And the food was delicious & homely at the same time. Would totally recommend this to someone who just wants to unwind.

Bessies cottage is a wonderful place in Peora. Located in a very peaceful surrounding with a driveway, it has three bedrooms two on the groudfloor and one on the top floor adjoining the terrace. The place is very clean with amenities like heater, kettle, geyser, washing machine and fridge required for a great stay. The lawn adjoining the house is very pretty with beautiful flowers and sitting area. On a clear day there is a great view of the snow clad range from the lawn and the terrace. The highlight of the stay was the personal attention by Kamal bhaiya the caretaker who not only cooked delicious meals as per our taste but also pampered to every need. Extremely polite he takes care of all guests like his own family. We had a wonderful time and would love to visit again.

We spent 3 days including New Year's Eve at Aikkya. Their place is ideally located with great views, peace and quiet. Our room was simply yet beautifully decorated and was very clean. We liked the fact that their cottages are built with local building techniques, are sustainable and still have the modern amenities and comforts. We especially loved the common lounge/dining area with it's wood burning stove. It's the ideal place to chill, get to meet the other guests, eat and drink. Shivani and Avijeet go to great lengths to cater to the tastes of each of their guests, cooking different cuisines and offering variety. We had some delicious meals and got to taste an authentic Kumaoni spread. At the end of our stay, we left knowing that we will be back.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place is just as beautiful as shown in the pictures if not more stunning in person. It’s peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect spot to relax and disconnect. The moment you arrive, it feels like time slows down you truly get to unwind and enjoy the simple, calming moments. One of the highlights was definitely the food every meal was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with love. The hospitality was warm and thoughtful, making the entire experience feel special and personal. This place is a hidden gem, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking to escape the noise and enjoy some real peace. I’d return in a heartbeat!
