Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Savanne District

I have a lot of wonderful things to say but not enough characters in the limit so forgive the bullet points. 1) Susanna is a great host and flexible. 2) Claudine and Naajine are excellent staff at the villa, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and you have to try their cooking! They made it feel like we were staying in a hotel. 3) The villa is more like multiple villas in a small complex. It has a boutique hotel feel without having to share and the ladies keep it fresh. Our group of 10 was easily accommodated and plenty of dishes etc. 4) The 2 golf carts make getting around the So Sofitel resort easy. Snorkel at around high tide, you can still stand up if the tides are pulling on you. It’s a great starter location if you’ve never tried it before. If you choose a massage we recommend you ask for Crystal as it was a bit hit or miss. 5) Recommend getting a hire car as it’s a bit isolated although there were many taxis in the next village. We were warmly welcomed and had a nice stay. We came for 2 holidays and it complicated our outings including access to the supermarket and the various restaurants. Breakfast was brought to us by the host... a real plus for our two daughters who are a fan of fruit! I recommend this place if you want to visit the south of the island, you will be at the heart of Mauritian life.

We had an incredible time at this villa! The property is bright and airy with spacious and comfortable bedrooms. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was fantastic, offering peaceful surroundings with breathtaking views, yet still close enough to the beaches, local attractions and amenities. The outdoor spaces were perfect for enjoying the sunshine, with a cosy pool and seating areas. The host was extremely welcoming and responsive, making the check-in process smooth as well as ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. They even provided some home-made French macarons and great local recommendations! I highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a nice and peaceful getaway!

We enjoyed our stay in Villa Kamaya. Alice and Alex were very friendly, and easy to communicate with. The location is beautiful, in the mountains. The rooms were spacious and well thought out.

Dominique was a consummate host. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, and very quick with responses to questions mid-trip. The villa itself was fantastic - as good as if not better than the pictures. It has a lovely private feel, is silent and peaceful, a brilliant pool and is well cared for by the wonderful maid Roshni on a daily basis. Couldn’t recommend more - 10/10.

Bel Ombré Ocean View Villa matched our expectations, it indeed has a spectacular ocean view and the beach is within walking distance. The house has all the amenities one needs to feel very comfortable. Everything was functional including the swimming pool The neighborhood is very safe, quiet and quite close to big supermarkets. We would love to come back and Jerry is an amazing host 🙏🙏🙏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful stay in the small but nice place right by the sea! There are many very good restaurants within walking distance, so we hardly used the kitchen. From here you can also make great excursions to the Black River National Park and Le Morne by rental car. We felt very comfortable!

Very nice apartment, just like in the photos in beautiful and quiet residential complex. Great and clean pool that you like to use overlooking the Black River. Kitchen well equipped. Great location for excursions in the area. Overall, the place is highly recommended.

A unforgettable stay! The sea view is simply magical. The accommodation is perfectly equipped and very well located. The private pool is a real plus. A huge thank you to Anne and Dominique for their wonderful welcome. These are hosts with exceptional kindness. It immediately feels like a home away from home. We leave with memories in our heads. We recommend this accommodation without hesitation, and for sure, we will be back!!

One of my favourite Airbnb stays. Loved staying in the local village. Eric was so friendly and the accommodation had everything we could need. We could walk to restaurants and the supermarket and it was a short drive to beaches and places of interest.

Stéphanie and her team were incredible, very responsive and even helping to set up a surprise birthday welcome for my husband on our arrival. Blue Bay is a dream and this house only adds to it - luxe, easy, and with the lagoon right out your door. Very well set up for kids and families with lots of nice touches. Only drawback is that you're right in the flight path of the airport, which scared our toddler until he got used to it - but luckily the flights don't really go at night so you're not disturbed. Would definitely recommend and hope to return!

Fantastic Apartment!!! We stayed for 2 weeks at Emmanuel's apartment and loved every day. The apartment is spacious, has incredible sunset views and is fully equipped to cook meals at home. I think it was one of the most peaceful and quiet apartments we have stayed in over the past 7 years. The washing machine was greatly appreciated for such a long stay. Emmanuel is the best host, he communicated promptly with us prior to and during our stay. He even managed to find a blender for us to make our breakfast fruit smoothies. He provided all sorts of local recommendations of places to eat and visit and allowed us to stay well beyond check out time because of our 7:30pm flight off the island. Don't hesitate to book this apartment if it's available. If we ever get back to Mauritius we would definitely stay here again. Thanks for hosting us!! Susan & Blair from Canada

Great stay at Isabelle's who is a simply amazing host. In addition to the many tips about the surrounding area, we offered a guided tour of the south of the island and put us in touch for a dolphin and sperm whale boat tour. We are very satisfied with our stay at this beautiful apartment. We travelled as a family and a baby bed and a baby chair was provided for us. The apartment was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Wonderful with daily cleaning and a welcome meal upon arrival. The neighborhood was calm. The surroundings are so beautiful. Lovely garden, nice pool area and a beautiful beach with plenty of space. Christopher was very kind and helpful. We are especially grateful that we could have an early check in after a long flight. We would love to come back.

3 nights at the Charming Condo perfect for discovering Tamarin, Le Morne, Black River and the Black River gorges! The location is perfect for travelers traveling by bus. This was our case and Sébastien provided us with all the information to get to the accommodation from the East of Mauritius. Easy and super accessible! Pleasant surprise upon our arrival with the little extras and attentions of our hosts: welcome basket and beach towels provided, perfect for an aperitif on the nearby beach! The first aid kit (yes, we don't think about it enough!) is perfect for small injuries after visiting the National Park! And the perfect location close to restaurants! We enjoyed the Jiva for breakfast and the happy Rahja or Osaka Sushi for dinners! Bonus for Sébastien's availability, responsiveness and impeccable accommodation. I recommend without hesitation, between friends or family, the charming Condo will be ideal for your stay in the south west of Mauritius.

Good value for money, spacious, parking and terrace. The essentials are present but equipment to be relativized taking into account the price. Level of finish, comfort and equipment a little fair (electrical outlets, water drainage, cooking utensils, closing windows, etc. Winning in receiving work but the price may rise.Dhareena acknowledges that there may be problems and always looking for solutions. The most delicate point is the noise related to the rambling of dogs in the neighborhood. Expect disturbing barking including the night that contrasts with the surrounding calm. Late checkout appreciated on the last day.

The accommodation exceeded our (high) expectations. We were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable from the beginning. The apartment is super modern, spotlessly clean and has a breathtaking view of the lagoon. I loved drinking coffee on the balcony in the morning and looking out at the sea. The amenities are great. The washing machine is very convenient. Our kids loved the lower pool. There you have a great view of the green hillside. You can enjoy the sunset on the roof terrace with pool. It is so nice and quiet and everyone (residents/employees) is very nice. Supermarket within walking distance. In general, however, I would recommend a car. Great location to explore the south in particular. The place was absolutely perfect for us! Roumila answered every question very quickly and is very nice.

Ashvin welcomed us perfectly to his home at La Gaulette. We had a good chat with him, he was very good advice for restaurants and activities in the area. Her place is impeccable, with all the necessary amenities, and impeccably clean! The view of Le Morne and the surrounding greenery is really a plus. I recommend it 100%, thank you Ashvin! Marine

Océane is an excellent host, she was super responsive and provided us with great local recommendations. The studio is as described in a beautiful small garden.
