Cozy holiday home with sauna, lake and nice forests

Welcome to our cozy cottage located in the middle of nature overlooking Frissjön. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet! The cottage is located 150 meters from the lake. Right on the shore there is an associated wood-fired sauna with jetty and rowboat. (Fishing license required) Directly adjacent to the cabin there are lovely forest walks with access to berries and mushrooms during the season. If you like running, there are plenty of both trails and roads. Road with few cars also provides the opportunity for both roller skis and cycling.

The whole family fits here, with lots of room for fun. One street away is Sävsjös Camping. There are paddle halls, bathhouses, lakes and walking trails. Also nearby is the highland trail & electric light trail. Close to Sävsjö shooting center and gym. 1.5 km away is the main street and the center with grocery stores, restaurants, small cinema, liquor store and more. A little further on, you will also find Boda Borg and Högagärdebacken. This is an older house where not everything is renovated, it has its flaws but its charm.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home. Perfect accommodation if you are passing through or for a vacation stay. This house is located in a small community between "Astrid Lindgren's World" and "High Chaparral".(About 100 km to both) There is a store here, Glimten, and a popular German restaurant, "Lieblingsplatz". Nice hiking areas and lakes. Fishing cards can be purchased online. Winter: slalom slope with a lift in Sävsjö. (25 km) There is a high chair for children. Sheets and towels are available to rent.

Modern and charming house in the highlands of Småland. The house is spacius with 148m2 living area and outside you have access to the garden, the woods and the big lake Frisjön where it is possible to row and fish from our boat. The house is at the end of a road so very quiet and scenic location. Possibility to barbecue outside and the house has a big living room with fireplace and dining area. Great place for hiking, swimming, fishing, enjoying nature, skiing in winter and exploring Småland.

Tranquil, renovated cottage in Småland

If you’re looking for peace and quiet and disconnecting for a while, our little cottage is the place to be. Our little oasis is located in the middle of the forest, at the end of the road – here nobody will disturb you. The house itself originates back to the 17th century, had a major renovation in the 70’s, and recently had a total makeover of the upper floor. I’m the fourth generation that recently took over and use it as a summer house, and from 2024 on renting it out when we’re not here.

Possible to make day trips to Astrid Lindgren's World, High Chapparal, Kleva Mine and much more.

offgrid stuga

In the woods of Asa (called the highlands of southern Sweden) we rent out our stuga. It is located in a beautiful area in Småland with lots of lakes, hills and forests, there are nearby bathing areas with jetties and beaches for swimming, fishing and boating. There are several hiking trails and cities nearby. (Like Växjö) The cottage is located in the woods on our property. We live off-grid and try to create a vegetable garden full of flowers every year.

A cozy cottage in a quiet environment right by the lake and close to forest. Access to own dock and raft where you can swim. Rowing boat, canoe and DRINK are also available and included. 3 bedrooms (4 beds in total and 1 bunk bed) and a loft where you can sleep on mattresses. One of the bedrooms is in a small separate guest house. Kitchen, a bathroom with toilet + shower and sauna. We expect well-behaved guests who respect the quiet surroundings.

A swimming area is just 700 m away. Blueberries grow right outside the door. The village of Lammhult, known for designer furniture, is within walking distance and offers a supermarket, train station, pharmacy, restaurants, various furniture stores and much more.

It is a cozy tiny house with everything you need for a break. If you need a place to stay overnight to unwind or a roof over your head when you are passing through - our summer stuga is available for you. The kitchen and bathroom are located outside the Stuga and are shared. ​
