The beach of Lake Päijänne is within walking distance, the nearest grocery store is less than 3 kilometers away. Whether you come to Central Finland for a business trip, skiing, shopping or to enjoy a wide range of cultural activities, you can stay with us without worries. Thanks to the fold-out sofa bed, up to four people can stay comfortably. Want to heat up the sauna and wash your travel laundry? No problem!

Pihakammari (uninhabitable)

Pihakammari is located in the vicinity of Alvar Aalto's home; Aalto's experimental house and Säynätsalo town hall are within a radius of 2-3 km, and Muurame Church is 7 km from the accommodation. The experimental house can be seen along the ice route. The accommodation has a kitchen equipped with dishes, a coffee and kettle and a microwave, as well as a refrigerator. Breakfast supplies are for you, go ahead. Traditional Finnish yard sauna for rent in the summer, with swimming in the lake. There's no wifi in the chamber.

Parking space can be found right next to the house (about 150-200m) In the immediate vicinity of the house there is a beach and a convenience store just 750m away.

This log sauna cabin with modern facilities is located in the upper yard in your own peace. The nature of Muuratsalo and the lake Päijänne offer wonderful hiking opportunities all year round! Good transport connections. 2-4 km to Säynätsalo's services and Alvar Aalto's destinations, 0.3 km to the bus stop. Good game/playing opportunities in the school yard nearby. 2 Sup-boards, kayak, trampoline. The nearest swimming beach is 500m away, the kayaking/supboard access is 150m away.

Welcome to our home! Our apartment is peaceful and cozy. We are a local writer/artist and a musician. During the summertime you spend time on our small balcony – you might see Lake Päijänne sparkling out there. Alvar Aalto's famous Säynätsalo Town House is just a few minutes walk away. Apartment is located on the 1st floor. However, there is a few stairs to the our door. There are two double beds in our apartment – one in a bedroom and one in a alcove.

Welcome to Vaahterankukka in Halssila, Jyväskylä, a unique and idyllic residential area! Vaahterankukka is a hundred-year-old charming pink little house in our yard. In summer, you can see lush maples and branches of the yard elm from the windows, while in winter, the ice of nearby Jyväsjärvi shines on the horizon. As a guest, you can be in peace in the shelter of a small house. From the highway, you can reach our destination in a few minutes by car.
