Villa holiday rentals in Scarlino

All I can say is WOW! What a beautiful home and landscape! The house is charming and has plenty of room for our large family. The view is absolutely spectacular. Luigi has gone out of his way to make sure all the conveniences of life are there for you! We were welcomed with a snack and water. He had coffee available to us. I have never stayed at an Airbnb that put everything together so nicely! He even personally went over local treasures with us and was honest about pricing on all of them knowing we were feeding a lot of people. His villa is warm and charming and so was he! We felt safe and secure in the home. I will say the walk to the gorgeous rock beach below is totally worth it but slightly challenging with littles. We took 4 kids down there, and it was a magical time but going back up… oh my! Lol. He said there were 150 steps going down and 300 coming back up! Felt true. Hahaha! Please don’t let the no A/C dissuade you! He has really nice fans for every bedroom! We slept cool!

A great place to stay with extremely warm hosts. Highly recommended! The outdoor area for sole use is more of a park than a garden, which leaves nothing to be desired (shade is also possible at any time, beautiful large trees with many birds, fireflies, hammocks, loungers, garden gazebo, barbecue station and much more). Pool very nicely landscaped and not visible. House on 2 levels with indoor and outdoor stairs lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need. The area is only partially suitable for cycling tours with the family. Hardly any bike paths. Especially the short way to Siena takes a lot of courage against car traffic. The route is not suitable for younger children.

Ilaria’s villa is a comfortable and stylish base from which to explore all the wonders that Maremma has to offer. We are a family of four, and after a couple of weeks in Italy, the kids were craving home-cooked meals, so we spent several hours in the kitchen and dining areas. It was delightful to cook while listening to the kids having fun in the pool. The beds were very comfortable and inviting. The villa is conveniently located near the old town center and several supermarkets. Since we were keen to visit Porto Ercole, Alberese, and Saturnia, we didn’t dedicate as much time to Grosseto as we should have. The old center has a very mellow vibe, and everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming. We wished we could have stayed longer. Finally, I want to say a big thank you to Ilaria for being so accommodating and kind. We are already looking forward to returning to your place.

We enjoyed it very much. The garden and the pool were great and we recovered very well. The bikes were really old but sufficient for a ride to the supermarket or train station. Although the landlords live directly on the property, we did not feel disturbed and always had the whole garden and pool fully available to us. We hardly saw the landlords, and on some days not at all. You have to like a garden kitchen.... We got along well with it. All in all, a great place to stay that we are happy to recommend.

Wow. There aren’t really words to describe how beautiful the villa and its setting are. Roberto and Sofia were amazing. Everything you needed and more. We will most definitely return more than once. Wishing we were still there. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home with us.

Incredible property, incredible location, incredible host! If you get the chance to stay here we can't recommend it highly enough - the house, gardens and pool are extremely private, immaculate and sit nestled into a slight hillside looking out over the attached olive grove. You can literally sit with bread and oil from the grove while taking in the views, which are spectacular. Easy travel to Castiglione della Pescaia which is a wonderful little town with beaches, boutiques and bagnos. Ten minutes from Le Mortelle winery, who do a perfect lunch. To top it all off Rita the host is an absolute powerhouse who consistently went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. Whether that was almost instantly replacing the BBQ Gas, giving local recommendations, organising high chairs and travel cots, or even finding me a masseur the level of attention to detail and commitment to our needs was amongst the best we've ever had, thank you Rita!

Sabrina is a super friendly and helpful hostess. We felt immediately comfortable and enjoyed the area very much. Total recommendation for this place!

Villa Le Ginepraie, as the house is called, was nothing but magical for our stay in Tuscany. Spending time there with our three children, their partners, and two grandchildren provided the perfect setting for celebrating our anniversary. Tucked away in a serene location with beautiful landscapes wherever you looked, was something you only see in movies. Large bedrooms and spaces abound, highlighted by a spectacular pool area. Finally, to say our host, Valerio, was great is an understatement. His only goal is to make sure your stay is perfect. His help planning pizza dinners in the brick oven just outside a dining portico was so special, we did it twice. The information he provided regarding the area and his ability to assist in any way needed quickly was something that, without it, would not have made our stay as fantastic as it was. A place we would hope we could return to!!

Florence was an amazing host and her home is spectacular. My family and I had the best time . It is centrally located on the island to drive where ever you want to go. My 2 year old son was with us and there were all sorts of toys for him and things to explore. She even helped us book activities on the island and was always available to help. Grazie Mille Florence!!

We stayed one night at this beautiful villa. There were 14 of us and everyone comfortably found their own space. The house is very large and well laid out, the ground floor offers moments of conviviality that are difficult to recreate elsewhere. The large living room, equipped with table tennis and foosball, overlooks the porch and the internal garden, together with the kitchen (beautifully equipped), creating a single, large sharing area. The house is really suitable for everyone, even the little ones, the inner courtyard is closed, safe and enjoys a lot of privacy. Spending a few days in this accommodation is one of those experiences that you should do at least once a month. The owner Barbara has followed us impeccably from the beginning with accurate instructions and excellent advice. We'll be back

Franca and Giulio were great hosts and took care of our well-being. The house is idyllically situated in a quiet environment in an elevated location, ideal for relaxing. The kitchen is excellently equipped, we didn't miss anything. Particularly noteworthy is the beautiful pool, which perfectly rounded off our time there. Overall it was a relaxing and unforgettable stay – we will be happy to come back!

We really enjoyed our time in the Villa Campo Valerio. It is located beatifully in the middle of olive trees and we loved it. The pool, the house and everything aroud was perfect for our family and the week we spent there.

That was my 2nd stay in this amazing house! I felt again immediately at home and comfortable. Maria’s housekeeper was extremely welcoming and helped us connect our electric car with the house mains.

Great holiday home with beautiful views over the Tuscan hills. No less than 3 spacious bedrooms with great beds. A nice covered terrace with the same beautiful view where you can have delicious breakfast or dinner. The private swimming pool is of course also fantastic, our children enjoyed this. Gabriele is a very friendly proactive host who sent all nice tips and useful info in advance and awakened our self upon arrival. Despite the slightly inclement weather during the week we were there, there is plenty to do and visit in the area, when the weather is nice you can also go to the coast. I would highly recommend this stay and hope to come back someday!

Wow, what a wonderful experience. My husband and I chose Marco and Marta’s Villa to renew our 30th Anniversary vows. It was a magical experience that we will treasure forever. We had our boys with us to celebrate and the Villa was perfect for all five of us. It was so cozy and the bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our Tuscan dinners including all the amenities. Marco and Marta had their wine and olive oil for us to enjoy during our stay. The wine was amazing and the olive oil so yummy. The yard was spectacular overlooking the Tuscan mountains with the lovely pool to enjoy daily and outdoor seating to savor those beautiful daily sunrises and sunsets. Marta and Marco were perfect hosts and went out of their way to help make our anniversary extra special. It was a true Tuscan experience and we highly recommend their Villa. It was everything we expected and much much more. We will definitely be back to stay in the future!

Lovely location, remote but exactly why we chose it. Idyllic surroundinga and lots of amazing places to visit an hours drive in every direction, some less. Place was exactly what we hoped.

I don’t even know where to begin describing this place. It was the most amazing place I have ever stayed. If you are looking for a peaceful and private villa with incredible views, then stop looking. This is it !! All of the reviews we read before we arrived talked about how amazing the views are and that you must take up the offer if Paola and Alessandro offer to cook a meal for you. Both recommendations are spot on. The sliced beef was one of the best meals I have ever had, and I often found myself wandering around outside the villa looking at the 360 degree views in all directions. We all felt so sad to leave this magic place. Paola and Alessandro were perfect hosts. Always friendly and with a smile on their faces. It’s a long way from Australia but I really hope we get an opportunity one day to return to this majestic place.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Bacci! The house and especially the phenomenal view are unique. A place where you can switch off and spend time with friends and family. The pool makes the house even more amazing. We will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful week in this charming bungalow and felt very comfortable from the beginning. The entire residential complex is quiet, clean and extremely well maintained – an ideal place to relax. The kitchen is excellently equipped; dishes, pots, cutlery and everything you need is available in sufficient quantity. We often and gladly used the pool - we only missed parasols there.

We had a memorable and unique experience spending 5 nights at the Studio - as per the photos, you are literally in the middle of a vineyard, with unbeatable 360 views, amazing scenery and a very secluded, peaceful environment (aside from the odd tractor or vineyard worker)! Mario was a very warm and welcoming host, and we appreciated him doing a late check in for us after we were delayed. Our wine tasting with Mario at the Terralsole winery (about 20 mins away) was also a really highlight of the trip too 😊🍷 Note that getting to and from the property is off the beaten track, so worth bearing that in mind for what car you bring. Would also recommend bringing mosquito repellent and bug spray as you may find a few crawly friends joining you. Montalcino is a 20 min drive away, Castellnuovo dell’ Abate is 5 mins away with a few bar/restaurant options and the Abbazia di Sant’Antimo is well worth a visit. All in all, we’d recommend a stay here.
