Holiday houses in Scarpaccia

We had a family reunion and were really looking forward to spending some time relaxing around the pool and jacuzzi, but unfortunately a freak disaster struck the first night that left both unusable (and the hosts with lots of mopping up to do). Despite this disappointment, the hosts went to great lengths to provide us with alternative activities, and the surrounding area is MAGNIFICENT. Driving is scary if you're not used to misty, tiny little roads on precarious mountainsides, but ohhhhh, the scenery is worth it. And the hosts were superb. They spoiled my niece Olivia with a massive Easter Egg on her arrival, and Daniela peppered us with delightful stories, special seasoning, homemade Limoncello, and cake, so despite the disappointment of the pool and jacuzzi, we had a lovely time. Rooms were comfy, the kitchen is well-stocked for cooking, and the views are spectacular. So I'm giving the stay 5 stars, because if the pool and jacuzzi work as usual, it certainly would be a 5-star spot.

Laura was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly helpful, especially when our arrival at the villa was much later than expected—she greeted us warmly without any issue. She also went above and beyond by arranging a private reservation for us at the local restaurant, Il Convivio dei Corsi Ristorante in Raggiolo, which was stunning and served truly amazing food. The villa itself is beautiful and very private. We especially enjoyed the hot tub—perfect for the crisp spring weather, which added to the charm of our stay. We had such a relaxing and memorable trip in the mountains of Tuscany. Thank you, Laura!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Alessandra’s villa in Stia. We were two families — 4 adults and 4 children — and everything exceeded our expectations. The location is ideal: peaceful, surrounded by nature, and yet conveniently close to everything. The villa itself is immaculate, tastefully furnished, and radiates authentic Tuscan charm. Alessandra was incredibly kind and attentive, always available and generous — she even spoiled us with delicious homemade treats. The children were absolutely thrilled and didn’t want to leave. It’s also worth mentioning that photos simply don’t do the place justice — the beauty and atmosphere must be experienced in person. I would highly recommend staying here; it’s a truly unforgettable and heartwarming experience in the heart of Tuscany.

When visiting Italy our goal was to experience the real Italy and not be stuck in a tourist trap. Porciano achieved this with flying colours. Barbara and Paolo welcomed us warmly and made sure all our needs were met. Casa Lichio was ideal for our needs, neat, clean, comfortable and above all, authentic. It is worth noting that the second bedroom accesses the bathroom via the main bedroom. It was with a heavy heart that we left after our four week stay.

Ruhe, Natur pur, schöne Wanderwege... Wer das sucht, ist hier richtig. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man benötigt. Der Garten riesig, der Zugang zum Arno traumhaft. Die Wohnung war super sauber. Caterinas Eltern zuckersüß und hilfsbereit. Caterina hat auf Nachrichten immer schnell reagiert.

Roberta è stata molto disponibile e attenta nella descrizione del percorso e della zona per posteggiare, proprio davanti alla casa. L'appartamento è in una frazione a pochi Km dal paese in cui ci sono negozi comodi, ed è fresco internamente, cosa importante in questo periodo perchè, soprattutto al pomeriggio, fuori faceva veramente molto caldo. Il caldo ci ha impedito anche di usufruire appieno del giardinetto, che con climi più freschi sarebbe veramente godibile essendo ombreggiato e attrezzato. Nella frazione di Calcinaia i nostri telefoni cellulari non avevano campo, ed è quindi stato particolarmente utile il wifi di casa, che funzionava bene. Siamo stati anche molto contenti delle informazioni puntuali e precise che gli host ci hanno fornito sui percorsi in bici nei dintorni, anche perchè non avevamo avuto risposte dall'Ente Parco che nei giorni precedenti aveva avuto dei problemi legati ai lavori sulla linea

Das Cottage ist wundervoll. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, es ist perfekt zum entspannen und man kann sich jederzeit im Pool abkühlen. Lucrezia und ihre Familie sind toll, man erlebt die italienische Gastfreundschaft, vor allem bei dem wundervollen Dinner. Danke für alles, es war eine unvergessliche Urlaubswoche.

Wir haben uns bei Adriana sehr wohl gefühlt und die Unterkunft war sehr modern, sauber und gepflegt. Auch der Außenbereich mit dem Whirlpool war super schön. Der Weg hin zur Unterkunft ist etwas eng und kurvig, was für nicht geübte Italien Urlauber etwas herausfordernd sein kann, aber durchaus machbar ist.
