Riad holiday rentals in Sebou River

Das Riad liegt mitten in der Medina, sehr schöner Innenbereich, täglich etwas abgewandeltes Frühstück. Großzügiges Appartement, allerdings fließt das Wasser in der Dusche schlecht ab. Man steht im Abwasser und der zweite kann nicht sofort danach duschen, da man warten muss, bis das Wasser abgeflossen ist. Wir haben am ersten Abend ein Dinner genossen, welches äußerst geschmackvoll war, für uns viel zu viel. Beim Dinner wurde meine Lactose-Intoleranz berücksichtigt, beim Frühstück (Joghurt+ Milch) leider nicht. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt - allerdings ist das Appartement etwas zu teuer. I

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour entre filles au Riad Vega. Idéalement placé, nous avons pu déambuler dans la médina et retrouver facilement le lieu (ce qui n’est pas une mince affaire dans le labyrinthe de Fès !) Les petits déjeuners sont exquis et très copieux. Les services annexes : repas (tajine), taxi aéroport et cours de cuisine nous ont énormément satisfaites. Merci à Kenza pour ses réponses toujours rapides et adorables, et merci à Khadija pour le service discret et parfait. On reviendra, inchallah !

I was attracted by the beautiful pictures Sonhild posted of her “Fab Artist’s House” and I booked the riad for 4 nights for me and my family. After booking, Sonhild was very responsive to the myriad questions I had and sent comprehensive descriptions of the riad, things to do, places to see, and favorite eateries in the medina. She clearly loved Fes and wanted her guests to have a great experience. In her communications, Sonhild also introduced us to Said, the person who manages the riad and takes care of the guests on a daily basis. He met us at the train station, arranged for two mini-taxis to get us to the medina, made sure we were situated and comfortable in the riad, made an incredible breakfast each morning with Amina, his wonderful wife, made suggestions about what to see, and even rescued us when we got lost in the medina. Said, I must say, was amazing and one of the kindest people and purest of souls. He added a very human touch to our experience in Fes.

Immersion parfaite dans la médina, emplacement top pour se balader et flâner. Le logement est typique, mais attention à la tête !! Passage de porte bas et escaliers très raides. Nous recommandons ce logement 👍

Dankzij een prettige ontvangst voelden we ons meteen helemaal thuis. Wat een bijzondere plek om te overnachten. Alle mogelijkheden om Meknès te ontdekken, uitrusten op een dakterras omringd door groen en heerlijk gegeten. Dank!

Wonderful stay at Dar Benaress. Mohammed and Nabilla are amazing hosts. Before we arrived, Mohammed asked if we’d like a list of things to do in and near Fes that he could arrange. It was our first time in Fes so we opted for both of the local tours and the hammam. We could not recommend them more and were so pleased we did those. The tours were informative and our guide helped us shop and took great care of us. Another option we arranged for was the home cooked meal. We initially thought we’d do that only one night, but Nabilla is such an extraordinary chef that we did it an additional two nights we were there of our four night stay. The riad itself is as beautiful and charming and magical as the pictures show. If not more. Amenities were as said. We couldn’t figure out the AC but the weather was fine so we didn’t bother to ask. The location is wonderful and Nabilla and Mohammed were very accommodating on arrival and when going on excursions. Would be lovely to visit again.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce Riad, très bel endroit, beaucoup d’espace et très bien placé pour visiter Meknès. Nous étions à motos et pas de soucis pour le parking surveillé. Je recommande vivement cette adresse. Merci à Anne-Marie. Nathalie et ses copains motards.

Ibamos 3 familias y hemos tenido toda la casa para nosotros. Fenomenal situada, en una zona tranquila, dentro de la Medina pero cerca de la zona de acceso. Cenamos una noche en casa, comida tradicional (sopa y cuscus) cocinada alli por la señora que cuida la casa. Desayuno casero también muy bueno. Todo limpio y el equipo que se encarga de la casa muy amables y atentos a nuestras necesidades. Lo recomendaremos!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was great, and the host was very kind and responsive. Everything was well organized, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend!

Un séjour tout simplement inoubliable en famille dans ce magnifique Riad au cœur de Fès. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été charmés par la beauté des lieux, mêlant authenticité marocaine et raffinement. Le Riad est un véritable havre de paix, décoré avec goût et chargé de cette magie unique que seule la médina de Fès peut offrir. Abdelali et toute son équipe ont été aux petits soins du début à la fin. Leur hospitalité sincère, leur disponibilité et leur attention à chaque détail nous ont fait sentir comme chez nous. On ressent immédiatement que ce Riad a été pensé avec passion : chaque recoin respire l’amour du travail bien fait, et l’âme d’Abdelali y est présente à chaque instant. La terrasse offre une vue imprenable sur la médina de Fès un panorama à couper le souffle, surtout au lever du soleil. Le jacuzzi sur le toit a fait le bonheur des enfants, qui y ont passé des moments de joie et de détente pendant que nous profitions de la sérénité du lieu. Tout y est parfait !

Everything was perfect! Really nice people, they helped us a lot with everything. They organized our pick up from the airport, Taha, a very nice guy, came to take us to the apartment, he was willing to help with anything, Rachid also! Absolutely, a really pleasant experience, thanks to their willingness, help and kindness!

Accueil très sympathique. Accès dans la médina très bien expliqué. Très bien placé au cœur de la médina. Très beau riad avec une magnifique terrasse. Un très bel endroit que je recommande. Pierre.

Siamo state in 10 amiche nel Riad . Tutto è andato benissimo, tranquillo, camere comode, le piccole meglio per 1 persona, le 2 molto grandi anche per 3 persone . Bravissima per la colazione Fatima che prepara buoni manicaretti. Ottimo, da consigliare .

We zijn 4 nachten bij Riad Drissia geweest. En het was geweldig. Gelukkig had de kamer airconditioning want het was buiten rond de 38 graden. We hadden via de host een transfer taxi en onze host Khalid haalde ons op om de medina in te wandelen. Een paar minuutjes wandelen en we waren er! Hij was altijd beschikbaar en hielp met ideeën en gaf tips over wat leuk was om te doen. We hebben heerlijk door de medina gewandeld en keken onze ogen uit!! Wat een kleuren en geuren. Het is een fantastische beleving. Vriendelijke mensen. Heerlijk eten voor weinig en prachtige oude gebouwen waar je voor 2€ kon kijken. Ook een dagreis gedaan naar de oude ruïnes en Meknes. Daar bracht Khalid ons ook even naar de opstap plaats. Khalid is echt een kanjer. Hij verzorgde ons lokale ontbijt en heeft ons verblijf echt fantastisch gemaakt. De kleine badkamer namen we op de koop toe. Deze ervaring gaan wij nooit meer vergeten. Dank je wel Khalid. Als we weer naar Fes gaan dan komen we weer naar Riad Drissia

Appartement très agréable au dernier étage, près de la terrasse, d'un riad très bien situé dans la médina, et facile à retrouver. Nous nous joignons à tous les remerciements précédents concernant l'accueil dans la famille de Zineb. Gentillesse, grande attention à notre bien-être, sincère générosité, facilité des échanges, des repas succulents. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour pendant le festival des musiques sacrées.

Riad très bien situé dans la médina. La terrasse à l’étage et la piscine sont très agréables. Je recommande ce logement. La seule chose qui pourrait être améliorée est le petit déjeuner qui n’est pas très local avec des produits industriels (jus d’orange, confitures, miel), c’est dommage en sachant combien les produits marocains peuvent être excellents.

Our stay at Rachid’s place was great. The entire staff were very nice, helpful, and easy to talk to. Everything smelled good and the building was clean, with the rooms in neat order. The breakfast provided was tasty and left us full in to the afternoon. And finally, both inside the building and outside was always very quiet with the bed being really comfortable! I’d highly recommend staying here if choosing to stay in the Medina.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel-style palace in Fes! The space was elegant, clean, and full of traditional charm. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our experience even more enjoyable. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the atmosphere of the city. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Fes!

We had a great stay at Riad Yacout. Asmae in the reception is a STAR. Kind, helpful, efficient, professional and always with a smile! Aziz is you host and he is A KING! We were put in a nice room at the front looking out at the mosque with a large confortable bed and a spotless cleen bathroom. Nur Al-din is the perfect ROCK in the kitchen area and among the waiters. The correct and humble servant. We fully recommend Riad Yacout, a couple of meters from were the action is. The best you can get in Meknès. Thank you! /Jesper & Lena from Stockholm/Sweden

My family and I had a wonderful time here! Great location with easy aces to shops and restaurants, but also nestled on a quiet side street so there wasn’t noise at night. The woman and young girl were such a blessing - they were kind, helpful, made DELICIOUS breakfast for us each morning, and loved playing with our two small children! The entire staff were very nice and helpful - when we departed, they even helped us take our luggage to our parked car outside the blue gate. Before arrival, communicating with Youssef was very easy. He always quickly replied, and when we asked for a baby cot in our room and fridge to store our baby’s milk in, both were already set up when we arrived - this was extremely helpful! Highly recommend!! We would definitely stay here again!! The only suggestions would be to (1) update the address (should be 42 Derb Bni Aich instead of 42 Derb Serraj), and (2) get a luggage cart to use for getting luggage and packages from the Riad back to the parked car.

Das Riad ist wirklich sehr schön und die Dachterasse ist eine Ruheoase im turbulenten Fes. Wir haben den Prestige Room gebucht, der den Bilder wunderbar entsprach. Allerdings war es aufgrund der Lage zum Innenhof sehr laut und man verstand jedes Wort durch den durchlässigen Spalt der alten Holztür. Das WLAN Signal reichte zudem nicht in die Zimmer. Ansonsten hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt im Riad. Die Kommunikation bei der Anreise war allerdings ein wenig schwierig. Im Vorhinein hatten wir über 3 Kanäle versucht das Hotel zu erreichen, um uns Tipps zu Anreise geben zu lassen, haben allerdings nie eine Antwort bekommen. Vor Ort waren dann alle super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Das RIAS liegt in der verwinkelten Medina von Fes. Auf dem Weg zum Hotel wird man mehrmals angesprochen und versucht in unterschiedliche Gassen geführt zu werden. Glücklicherweise ist der Weg ab einem gewissen Radius ausgeschildert.
