I am afraid I cannot express sufficiently fairly how amazing our stay at Casa da Cruz Alta was. The house is absolutely wonderful, comfortable, cosy; the heating, the soundproofing, the equipment, the details, everything perfect! Not only did we have everything we needed as the extras and the surprises were so many that our stay couldn't have been more complete. The owners are super friendly and attentive, being obvious the taste they have in receiving well and providing a great experience. The breakfast left daily was to cry for more. Thanks so much for everything, we will certainly return!

Ana is very welcoming and very responsive. The house is very spacious and quiet. Splendid view. Very well equipped house ( washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, hair dryer, capsule coffee maker, 2 bathrooms, private parking...) Despite the heat (36 degrees) and lack of air conditioning, we did not get hot in the house and slept very well (comfortable beds). Impeccable stay for 7 guests

Hosted by the host who was waiting for us on the street to guide us where to park very clean,m and peaceful place customer service via app is perfect too pool 3mn from the apartment everything was fine, we'll be back for sure!

We had an awesome weekend getaway at this property - tons of space for our family and amazing views. Just a short walk away was a beautiful waterfall and swimming spot - a great bonus. There were also lots of fun places nearby to check out. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get off the grid for a few days!

Very pleasant stay; very good welcome from Viriato and her mother , welcome gifts with good jam , local cheese. House with pool, secluded in the hills , quiet with views of the mountains . Ideal for the dog! Very satisfied.

Staying here was probably one of the best experiences I’ve had thru Airbnb. The farm is beautiful and private. We’re lucky to have the whole place for us and phenomenal weather. The chalé we stayed at was wonderful and surroundings were perfect to watch the sunset over the faraway mountains. Just paradise. We had some trouble with our car when leaving and asked for help to Mrs. Conceição. She promptly had someone from the farm, Mrs Teresa and Mr Antonio, who help us out and solved our problem. Awesome people all around. Loved it and I recommend it.

My stay at Susan‘s place was unique and unforgettable. Not only the location and the view are breathtaking but the vibe of the space and its very welcoming hosts are very special.. I strongly recommend staying here as a starting point to discover Serra da Estella and all the beautiful villages and river beaches around… The apartment and its equipped kitchen has all you would need. Swimming in the natural pool filled with source water feels like swimming in the river, with an incredible view on the mountains around… I spent a week here, mostly to work in a quiet environment and really loved it … Can’t wait to return again…

We really liked the house, so much so that we thought about coming back in the summer 😊 The location is great, in the center of the village. It's 20 minutes from the Tower, one of the places we wanted to visit. Hosts are communicative and gave good recommendations for the area.

Don't expect very clean and well-equipped accommodation, but the house is very bright and beautiful, and the location is beautiful! Nice hospitable welcome. Sun on the big swing is definitely worth it! Zoek "Baloiço entre serras - Travancinha"

We loved our stay in Loriga so much. João was already waiting for us when we arrived. He is a good host who always responds quickly. The airbnb was very neat and clean. Highly recommended!

What a charming place! Even more beautiful than in the photographs, we were very surprised. When we got to the house it was warm, they were careful to turn on the heaters before our arrival. As our visit was in order to enjoy the snow, you can imagine the cold that was! We were a family of 8 people and there was enough space for all of us. It has all the necessary utensils to spend a few days. As well as towels and many extra blankets. I can only point out that they could have been more careful with the cleaning, one of the toilets was dirty and there was some dirt behind the couch. For bathing it is a little difficult to regulate the temperature and has little pressure. But excepting everything perfect anyway. Thank you very much We recommend 100% and when we come back to play in the snow we will stay again at the cabbage house!

The space is great! A super cozy house, very warm for the cold days of the mountain! Very well equipped! Pena to have only one night!

A lovely house well located for Serra da Estrela - we drove from there on a very winding road to Manteigas and then on to Torre at the top. Good equipment in the kitchen for cooking. A nice lounge on the lower ground floor. Layout has entrance with double bedroom ensuite on ground floor with additional bathroom, first floor has second double and bathroom, dining room through to kitchen, then further beds in attic at the top. It works pretty well overall. Lovely and quiet with great views from the bedrooms across the valley. Comfortable, good sized beds. Clean and the Christmas decorations were a nice touch, thanks for a lovely stay

Exelente espaco to take off without doubt

This beautiful special house its all what we needed in our days in Serra de Estrela. Maria so mice and worm. you can feel she really care from you. the kitchen is so nice, the rooms are cozy. we were 3 friends and we had so much space. thank you for everything it was so hard to leave the house. we spent there 4 nights and it wasn't a nought. thank you house thank you Maria!!

We had a great stay. The place was private and peaceful, which allowed to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The house was also very good and clean, worth the price we paid for. It even had a bag with local cookies that Alexandra left for us, which were delicious. Moreover, Alexandra always showed herself to be very helpful and friendly.

Very comfortable and cozy house and very well equipped. Fantastic for a family vacation. We have already been twice in the winter and we love the house, always warm and the fireplace is great! Carina is a great host and all communication with her is always simple and easy!

The owner is very kind and very welcoming. Listing is as described. Atypical house with rock , large master bedroom. The new furniture added is very modern in opposition to the original facilities. The much-loved enclosed courtyard.

The house is really well taken care of. We were very well received and instructed about the house and the beautiful scenery that surrounds it, with reference to the proper care and attention to take into account especially with young children. During our stay the days were cold but the house is very well prepared to warm up in this shelter, with heaters, warm bedding and the wonderful salamander. The surrounding area is beautiful, unassuming and calm - great for a relaxing couple of days.
