Giacomo welcomed us in person and accompanied us to the house, even the mother was responsive and very helpful. Excellent welcome treats, apartment with attention to the smallest details, the restaurant "Il borgo" is recommended Great value for money. Highly recommended apartment and host.

She’s incredibly helpful—always available and willing to assist with anything we needed, no questions asked. Her warm, down-to-earth personality made our stay not only comfortable but genuinely special. What made the experience even more memorable was her recommendation to try her father’s amazing Roman cuisine, perfectly paired with local wines. It was an unforgettable meal and a true highlight of our trip. The farmhouse itself is beautifully located in the heart of Tuscany. It’s the perfect base for exploring nearby cities and the stunning countryside. Thanks to the central location, we were able to easily travel around and soak in all the beauty Tuscany has to offer. Though I'm an artist and a writer, my imagination could never have conjured a home and a natural setting as breathtaking as Carmela's Tuscan retreat. Words fail me even now. The views of the rolling hills are unreal, especially at sunrise when mist hovers over the stone buildings of the village in the valley. The home is so lovely and comfortable--modern rustic in the best sense. It's quiet there; often there are no man-made sounds to break the spell. Carmela is a delight! She's warm and welcoming and may even bring you a treat or two during your stay. Day trips to charming nearby towns are easy; what's difficult is convincing yourself to leave the daybed on the terrace. Do yourself a favor and spend some time at Carmela's absolutely dreamy home in the hills.

Castello Di Proceno was a great place to stay in the peace and quiet. You are well away from the hustle and bustle and will need transport to explore. The history is quite interesting. The furnishing and decor is very retro but still very comfortable. Cecilia is an amazing woman, both a wealth of information and very warm and friendly. She speaks Italian, French and English fluently. The staff are also friendly and helpful. The restaurant is set in idyllic garden (weather permitting) for standard prices. Breakfast is the included and tasty. A tour of the Castello is recommended.

We spent ~10 days of family vacation there and it was an absolute pleasure. Spacious house, pristine, impressively well-equipped, private and cosy. The area around the house is beautiful with a picturesque and well-maintained garden where I spent a lot of my time running around and playing with my son. The view is simply breathtaking, with the sea meeting the skies at the horizon, mountainous landscape and a large castle in view. The host, Enrico, gave us a warm welcome and we felt right at home. He was responsive, kind, and provided many tips and assistance with everything we needed. We wholeheartedly recommend this place for a quiet family vacation in Tuscany.

I cannot say enough about our trip to Martino’s villa. What a lovely villa in the cute town of San Casciano dei Bagni. We had a great family vacation, enjoying some of the smaller towns and a visit to Montepulciano . We enjoyed Eleanor’s cooking for us two nights- what an amazing chef! Martino was very responsive and helpful when we needed something. I hope we can return one day!

The communication before our arrival was very good, the hostess responded very quickly to messages and also proactively contacted us. We were very warmly welcomed and were even allowed to check in 1 hour earlier. We were shown everything in and around the house. The house and the garden + pool were very clean. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was important and also worked well. In the kitchen you will find everything you need. The garden is beautifully large and well maintained. The large pool with the beautiful view also impressed us. The hosts, who live about 50m next door, took care of the pool every morning and checked if everything is okay there. The directions were also relatively easy. Approximately 30 minutes' drive to the house, there is a large Coop supermarket, where we were shopping. The sea is also only 30 minutes away by car. All in all, we were very satisfied and fully enjoyed our vacation as a group of 6 people!

What a wonderful stay! Sorano was beyond expectations and our family enjoyed exploring the town on foot. Travel crib and highchair were appreciated to make our young one welcome. Would definitely recommend this stay.
