Great stay, ideal location - very close to St George's hospital, and only a minute across to excellent restaurants & supermarket. Very quiet, clean and just what we needed for our stay

We had the absolute best Airbnb stay with Wendy. A most gracious host. A peaceful place with stunning views. The beds were amazing, lovely linens, super comfortable. The flat is spotlessly clean and has everything you need.

Nice clean apartment, plenty of space for a couple of people, the full kitchen and washer/dryer is a plus for longer stays. Perfect location if you're visiting the university, there are a couple of late-night food options nearby too.

We've stayed at this apartment a few times now, handy walk to city centre and hagley park. lots of food options nearby. beautiful modern apartment with spacious bathrooms and bedrooms and really comfy beds. highly recommend

My daughter and I love the place. It’s facing the Hagley Park. There’s a basketball court at the park too which we spent our time there playing basketball. I requested for an iron which was missing in the place and I got it within a day. I really love the place and will come back again to stay. My friend who visited me, said that it’s really a good place too. It’s not noisy place. People had their runs early morning. Free parking. Love this stay this time. My second time coming to Christchurch and will come back again. Thank you for the stay in this awesome place. We love it.

Lovely spacious new build home with new appliances and secure parking. Clear instructions from a responsive host. Would recommend if you have a car to get around town.

Nice place to stay!!!

We had a family bereavement to attend in Christchurch and Rhys’s house proved to be the perfect place to base ourselves from over the few days we were in town. Clean, has everything you need, close to town, spacious bedrooms with ensuites and nice friendly host. It was a great place to stay and I would definitely go again.

I had a great overnight stay in this cozy little nest. Comfy bed, warm room, quiet, down a driveway so away from the street, nice neighbourhood. Room had everything I needed plus nice extras like the bowl of fruit. Host was friendly and helpful, and had put the heater on prior to my arrival. Many thanks.

Perfect location in a quiet street close to Merivale Mall. Spacious rooms and lovely outside courtyard. Parking is available in the complex and right outside the apartment on the street. Can definitely recommend this apartment as a much more comfortable and convenient alternative to a hotel or motel.

I had a long stay here and highly recommend the apartment. It is very central and has great bars and restaurants nearby. It is also very quiet as it is on a rarely used road. Mary was very helpful with check-in and had lots of reccomendations of places to try.

We have never stayed somewhere as incredible. We were nervous being on someone’s property but Steve is absolutely amazing. Super kind and left us to our own devices after checking in. The fireplace was absolutely worth every penny. The bed was beyond cozy (especially with the heated blanket). The luxury features really elevated the space. The bathroom floor is heated along with a heated towel rail. The shower and bath are even more stunning in person and the vibe in the backyard is phenomenal. He even has a parking space right up to your gate so parking is super simple. We will most definitely be back here! This is where we will aim to stay anytime we visit in ski season seeing as Methven is only a 30ish minute drive (a stunning drive at that). The lights also, so fancy and smooth. No glaring lights early in the morning. It allows for a nice slow start to the morning. And the back veranda also has an awning which meant that we could chill back there without the morning sun! Nicola is awesome. She is very friendly, outgoing and helpful. I have been here 7 weeks and planning to stay longer. I needed somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of town, but not too far that I couldn't get to meetings. By car, Kaiapoi township is about 10 minutes for shopping, restaurants, etc. and central Christchurch about 30 minutes - I hired a vehicle and have also used Uber. Silverstream Reserve is a few km walk away - they have kingfishers! I have a small farm back home so appreciate that Nicola also runs a small farm. She keeps sheep, cows and chickens, as well as a pond to encourage native wildlife - lots of paradise shelducks, mallards, harriers, fantails, swallows, dragonflies, frogs, etc. Lovely view of the Southern Alps in the distance from my window. Excellent host, no problems, no dramas, would use again. Thanks, Nicola !

We had a great overnight stay at Tracey's place, so close to the hot pools and dining options while passing through Methven. It was super tidy and I loved the bedding. The spa looked great but after doing the pools we were well cooked already! We would stay again if we are in the area

First time to Methven and we loved it. The apartment had everything we needed and was very cozy. Look forward to going back in the winter.
