A Curuxa country house is located in the heart of Valdeorras. In our small 2-story house you can enjoy a kitchen-living room with a sofa in front of a beautiful fireplace, a bedroom with a large double bed, a fireplace, a bathroom and a balcony. You can also enjoy a beautiful garden on the banks of the river with a barbecue and a wood-burning oven where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner under a palloza and a sofa under a pergola. The village is located between three important points: Spain (5 minutes), Bragança (12 minutes) and Miranda do Douro (25 minutes). In this place, it is possible to recharge, where the only noise is that of Nature. Possibility of being Trasmontano, getting to know its gastronomy and even being able to cook our dishes and products, Bread, Jams, Sausages and the many traditional dishes made in the Pot. Take the Bike and get to Spain in 10 minutes, as well as a Basilica in 5 minutes and a Roman Bridge.

This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

"Casa Folibar" is a small house with stone walls, built in 1935 and restored in 2021. All of it is diaphanous and has one floor. It is located in a small town called Manzanedo de Valdueza, it is a town in the municipality of Ponferrada, located in the Bierzo. The house has a maximum capacity for two people, but the ideal is for couples as it is distributed in a double bed and a sofa bed. It also has a kitchen and bathroom.
