This location is across the road from ministries, NGOs and very close to the American and Qatari embassies, within walking distance of awesome brunch and coffee shops, and the best beach front restaurants and late night spaces. The flat is super- beautifully decorated and spacious- we loved our stay!

This place was absolutely chic! The photos represented the apartment accurately. It is spacious and well decorated. We were very comfortable. Atsépo was very communicative when I was preparing for the trip. I had several questions because I was traveling with an infant and wanted to make sure we had what we needed. While we were there Malick and the building staff were incredibly kind and helpful in answering questions, reloading the electricity, and other matters. My only small complaint is not with the apartment but with the area, as first timers to Dakar and probably because we only speak English, we found it difficult to find dinner locally. Malick was helpful when we asked him and we had used a delivery service a few nights but overall that was one challenging aspect. Otherwise, I recommend the place. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

La Rose des Sables is an excellent place to stay in central downtown Dakar. This was my second time to stay in this spacious, well-equipped and well-located apartment with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable, which both of my stays here very much were. Alain was a very responsive, communicative and helpful host, attentive to any needs that arose. I look forward to returning to La Rose des Sables during future visits to Dakar.

Dame's accommodation was a home from home. We used all three of the bedrooms and they were very comfortable. Dame was very kind and responded promptly to all our enquiries. He added some special touches like a beautiful bowl of fresh fruits and bottled of water. His concierge, Mr Coulibaly, was also very helpful and easily available. The cleaner was also very efficient. All in all, we had a happy and comfortable time. Thanks Dame.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment, which is just like the photos. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, the caretakers are always present. I would like to thank the Host for her hospitality and responsiveness, and I would also like to thank the building caretaker (Lamine) in particular. I recommend!!!

This is my second visit to Cédric's and honestly, I have nothing to complain about! Always true to himself. The apartment is very well decorated and clean in a quiet neighborhood. The caretaker is always there to help. The cleaning service is top-notch. A very professional team. Overall, I had a very good stay.

Asha's place was roomy, clean, easy to stay in. The stairs were my daily workout, lol 5th floor, be prepared for that, but everything was exactly as described, great hosts, secure building. Will stay here again

The apartment is really very well located, in the heart of the Plateau district, one of the most lively and interesting places in Dakar, with plenty to do and visit. Thanks to this location, we were able to do a lot of things on foot. The neighborhood is pleasant and convenient. Aminata was extremely kind, accommodating and very responsive, always anxious to make sure our stay went smoothly. I would recommend it in a second!

Staying at this Airbnb was the best experience we have ever had at an Airbnb. The receptionist was so kind, even called us at the airport to confirm we were still coming after our flight was delayed. Once we arrived, the staff was so helpful. They brought our bags to our room, gave us a tour, even provided water for us. They offered to drop us off at locations if we needed assistance. The host and staff were very quick to assist in any way they could. If we are ever to come back to Dakar for another trip we would 100% return to this location. We have already recommended this place to our colleagues. Thank you for a fantastic trip to Dakar and thank you for the amazing stay at your location.

We had a fantastic stay at Couro's place. The environment was peaceful and comfortable, with easy access that made everything convenient for us. Couro was an exceptional host — her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care for our wellbeing made us feel very welcomed. The place itself was lovely and well-maintained, offering a perfect retreat. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely love to return!

The space was even better than the photos. we felt safe there. Fatou is a very friendly, smiling and extremely pleasant host in addition despite the fact that I broke into her home 😂😂😂(apartment in front of the one we were occupying) she took it with a smile and even offered us extra coffee pods. I recommend this place with my eyes closed. For my next stay in Dakar it is safe and certain that I will book with Fatou hoping it is available 😉 Fatou my neighbor

We had such a great stay at Bamba’s place in Dakar. He was super responsive and made everything easy from start to finish. The apartment was spotless and felt really well taken care of. As two women traveling solo, we felt completely safe. The security guards were so kind and helpful. They helped us with our luggage and groceries during our stay. We previously stayed in Yoff so it was a treat being close to Medina, Dakar Plateau and Mermoz. We highly recommend the nearby Carrefour for groceries and ATM access (it is walking distance) and Eric Kayser is great for breakfast. For a local feel, Dibiterie Haoussa and Marche Gueule Tapee were staples during our stay. Note that I worked remotely here and had no problems with the WiFi! Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Dakar.

Edmond went above and beyond to ensure our stay was good. We had to book his place last minute due to an incident at the first floor place we booked in Dakar. Despite the very short notice, Edmond and his team got the appartement ready and cleaned for us to settle in. Speaking of his team, Booba the handyman/driver and Mary the housemaid were great during our entire stay. The first thing Edmond told us when we met him was that he always put his clients first and he definitely did not lie when he made that statement. Speaking of the apartment, it is very big, new and beautiful. It is also well located to move around town easily. All in all, this apartment is a gem my family and I truly enjoyed our time and highly recommend Edmond as a host.

Great location , close to the beach. The place is clean, even nicer than the pictures. Romain is extremely responsive! The caretaker Denis is available, discreet and very well maintained the pool. We had a great time. We'll be back. Go with your eyes closed!

Very good stay - functional apartment, private pool and easy access to the gym and swimming pool on the roof of the building. Caretaking, private parking. Great place. Good quality internet, TV access. Comfortable bedding. Peaceful place. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

This is a gem! Yves has truly created a petit paradis. We felt lucky to get to experience it. The garden, pool and outdoor seating area are lovely. You find yourself not wanting (or needing) to leave. Yves and his staff were so kind and accommodating. The studio is super spacious and comfortable. The beach is a minute's walk away. We are already looking forward to returning.
