Designed by the host, an architect who has won numerous awards overseas. Not extraordinary, but a "delicate life" with the theme of enriching everyday life. You can experience that kind of life here. There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. If you're lucky, you'll see artificial satellites and meteors. The water heated by firewood never gets cold. It warms you from the core of your body. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. During the day, you might want to spend some time in the lounge filled with houseplants. Enjoy the sunlight shining through the trees from the skylight. Here, the right answer is to do nothing and just be. How about emptying your mind? If you request at least a week before your stay, we can prepare local food from Oshima Island and seasonal food that we can get through a special route. If you wish, you can also dine at a counter made of pure cedar, similar to a traditional Japanese restaurant.

A 50 tsubo bungalow and a 130 tsubo lemon grove. Three types of bedrooms with a playful spirit on a spacious wooden deck. From the barrel sauna made in the lemon grove, you can see the beauty of the many islands of the Seto Inland Sea. I've updated the photos of the room. The bunk bed in the Western-style room has been removed and replaced with two single beds. The maximum number of guests has been changed to 6. If you already have a reservation for 7 or more people, you can stay with the same number of people without any changes. Naoshima has become a tourist destination not only for Japan but also for the whole world. What changes, what doesn't. Each blends naturally, and the air flows in a way that can only be experienced in Naoshima. You'll feel it even more by staying on Naoshima. Sakura-so opened in the summer of 2014. It is a guest house with a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. 5-minute walk from the center of Naoshima's Miyanoura. It is located in a very quiet place. If necessary, please purchase them at a nearby convenience store or bring them with you. ※ There is no TV. There are some books and internet, so please enjoy a relaxing time.

All 3 bedrooms are tatami mat with Futon bedding. 1 BR on the 1st fl. with a garden view that historically, had been used as a waiting place for tea ceremony guests. There is a kitchen/dining area and a full-Bath with western amenities and use of a washing machine on the 1st fl. The 2nd Floor provides 2 adjoining BR separated by shoji screen doors and also includes a half-bath.
