The beautiful room with outdoor kitchen and outdoor dining room had everything it needed for relaxing days. A fragrant, tasteful bedroom with good Bed and beautiful linen, a wonderful covered and well-kept dining area with outdoor kitchen, functionally furnished. A large pool, always available and larger than in the pictures, wonderful in hot temperatures after an excursion - and even illuminated at night. A central location to explore Provence and the Camargue, on an absolutely private and large estate with the landlady Marie Agnes and her discreet family. In a quiet, friendly and pleasant way, Marie Agnes read our every wish from our eyes and gave good tips for the area. Beautiful bird and frog concert in the evening. A beautiful home in Simiane, close to vineyards in the Provence countryside but also close to Aix! Very clean and comfortable, quiet and peaceful. It’s warm in the summer but the fans help, even though you can’t open the windows at night due to bugs. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has all the amenities. It was wonderful to have two floors, two patio areas, two bathrooms. Great communication with a wonderful host. Definitely recommend!

We had a great time! The house is very pleasant to live in, bright and tastefully decorated, it is very well located: in a peaceful neighborhood, allowing you to spend the day at the old port to the north as well as in the creeks to the south. The sea view terrace (and the BBQ) is absolutely perfect for family evenings. Perfect communication with Michel and/or Raphaël who welcomed us. Check-out is just as smooth and easy as check-in. We will be back!

My family of 4 (myself, wife, two teenagers) absolutely loved staying in Anais' castle. The views were....stunning! It comes with a great pool that we really enjoyed when it got a bit hot (stayed during a June heatwave). The small hillside village has a few restaurants easily walkable to from the house. We loved the pizza place and the guy making pizzas was super awesome and friendly. The owner of the next door restaurant sold us soft drinks and wine even though he was technically closed. Really a friendly very small town atmosphere. We had a car, so lots to do in the surrounding villages. Anais was kind enough to provide a guide and we definitely took his suggestions. He was very responsive and provided excellent directions for finding this gem. maximin-la-sainte-baume is a small town about 5min away. There you can find groceries, coffee, shopping, etc. I fully recommend this place and Anais as a host!

Absolutely fabulous place! Built and decorated to a really high standard and has the amenities you could need and more! Perfect for a family break, there’s even children’s cutlery and games. Would recommend this place to everyone! On top of that, Valerie is a fantastic host- very proactive in messaging and arranging arrival and very helpful giving recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. 100% Provence feeling, 100% privacy, large garden with olive trees used exclusively by the tenants, pool is not large but for refreshment completely sufficient, accommodating and friendly landlord (folder with valuable recommendations Olivier has provided), the cottage is located in a district (Pond Rhaud) of Cornillon-Confoux, you can make beautiful walks from the cottage directly along the Touloubre, a supermarket is 6 minutes away by car, restaurants are not within walking distance, but there are plenty in salon etc, also in Cornillion there are some. In general, there are many interesting destinations that can be reached in less than an hour. Medical care is available in Lancon or Salon in the form of a medical center, where you can get treatment without an appointment. As a last note, the pillows were too hard for me personally (towards Tempur), if you don't like that, you should bring your own. There are 2 bathrooms.

Incredible, incredible, incredible , here are some things to know about Aix and the apt… … 6/21 solstice,, the city stays up until 2am. Don’t plan on sleeping before that unless u have big-time ear plugs. … it gets dark really late, it’s amazing in summertime. … if you rent a car, the Parc rotunda is an easy walk 1/2 mile walk and easy to deal with 25 euro for a full day. You will probably park for 10-12 hrs at a time for 13 euro. Worth it if you go to Avignon , Arles, Nimes, Cassis, etc … you can’t go wrong in Aix, and this apt is beautifully placed and beautiful, comfortable, has AC, a nice fan, a working kitchen, great furniture, a piano, a very comfortable bed, great private washing facilities, and a great shower. We did not use the Balcony because it was only two of us and it’s almost just an escape for smokers ….there are 78 steps to climb to get to the apt. It’s hard, be warned. And that’s without luggage. Be warned! Very secure tho.

Lovely little place to stay if you are looking for a quiet getaway! Close to plenty of things to see and do, all within a 20ish minute walk. It was a very straightforward walk to and from the local train station. Fabienne provided plenty of bathroom supplies including sanitary products, a hair dryer and other amenities. Although the apartment at night was incredibly warm, as it is situated on the top floor, the cooling pad and fans definitely helped. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Anne was super helpful and always responsive. The apartment was right in town. The small pizza place next to it was the best pizza I ever had. Aix is still a great place to visit!

This is an absolutely breathtaking private little spot where you can watch the sunrise over the mediterranean. Very secluded and romantic. The pool is stunning with it's view by the ocean side. it was a wonderful captivating spot to have stayed in.

Excellent 2-day stay for us! The accommodation was impeccably clean, very well equipped (washing machine, equipped kitchen, TV, wifi, fridge etc.) You feel good there right away. The host was very responsive, everything was easy. Bonus: superb decor! The village is full of charm even if access is via narrow and sloping alleys with stairs. The only downside: parking spaces. Traveling with a baby, no worries. I recommend ++!

Apparently awesome. Super clean. The sheets smelled really good. There were small touches both in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Everything you needed was there. Great host and very kind. We will return to this apartment without hesitation.

Apartment was great. Very nice to have an outdoor terrace. Centrally located to Centre Ville, SNCF Gare Aix and Cours Mirabeau. Only downsides are low air conditioning in living area and lots of stairs if carrying large suitcases but this information is shared in the listing so not a surprise to us. Otherwise great apartment and responsive / helpful host. Would recommend a stay here.

Perfect! Beautiful location right next to the sea. Loved sitting on the terrace watching the world go by. Shops, restaurants and a gorgeous bakery within a short walk. Easy bus service in to the lovely old town with a stop right outside. Highly recommend!

We spent a great week in Gwendolin's beautiful and well-kept apartment and felt right at home. The quiet location within walking distance of the Vallon des Auffes and many beautiful bathing opportunities is perfect. We spent beautiful long evenings on the fantastic roof terrace and would have preferred not to leave at all. Gwendolin was always super easy to reach, flexible and helpful. We would recommend the place to anyone and come back anytime.

Admiring a magnificent sunset from the terrace overlooking a pond, a beautiful view and an extraordinary calm, that's what I keep in mind from my short stay in this beautiful, well-equipped and well-functioning apartment. Arrived at 2 a.m. with two small children, the welcome booklet sent by Alfred before arrival reassured me about the organization. The baby bed already prepared, the apartment that contains everything you need to stay there as a family and especially the calmness gave me good reason to choose this accommodation for my stay rather than going to the hotel.
