Ficámos completamente encantados com a estadia! A casa está num local super tranquilo, rodeada pela natureza, só se ouvem passarinhos e galinhas, o que torna tudo ainda mais relaxante. Estava tudo impecavelmente limpo e a casa tinha um cheirinho ótimo logo à chegada. A piscina é um verdadeiro paraíso, com água morninha graças ao sol que apanha o dia todo! A Patrícia foi incrível, super prestável e atenciosa. Deixou-nos um vinho e umas tapas de boas-vindas que nos souberam mesmo bem. Foram dias perfeitos, sem nada a apontar. Recomendamos a 100% e esperamos voltar em breve!

Wir hatten bei AirBnB noch nicht oft ein so gepflegtes, stilvoll und hochwertig eingerichtetes und gut ausgestattetes Haus gemietet! Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel und großzügig und es ist mehr als die nötige Ausstattung vorhanden - Strandtücher, Bademäntel, Vorräte zur Benutzung in der Küche etc. Das Haus liegt zwar nicht ganz so idyllisch in einem etwas abgelegenen Neubaugebiet (was für uns aus dem Inserat jedoch bekannt war), dafür aber sehr praktisch für Ausflüge nach Lissabon oder ans Meer. Ein Auto ist definitiv zu empfehlen. Danke für den großartigen Aufenthalt, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

We consider this house to be on another level when it comes to the traditional Airbnb. You are essentially living in a private part of a palatial mountainside with amazing views of the forest , coastline and sunsets. The house is an ancient hermitage that is supremely well kept and the owners’ sophistication shines through. The gardens and terraces are absolutely beautiful and a joy to walk around with ponds, fountains and lovely forest pathways. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to make delicious meals. Beds are very comfortable and Mariana, the housekeeper, keeps the house spotless and the grounds are very well kept by the gardener. Cristina who owns the property is the most generous host who greeted us with a delicious homemade quiche and other provisions so we did not have to go shopping upon our arrival which was fantastic after a long journey. When visiting Sinatra, this home is such a privilege and will only enhance your stay!

We had a wonderful multi-generational family gathering at Lisa's house. The living room and pool area provided a comfortable gathering place enhanced by the beautiful landscaping and convenient location. Lisa was very helpful and accommodating and even sent photos of the baby crib and highchair in advance to reassure us that our 9 month old grandchild would be comfortable. She helped us plan our day trip to Lisbon, provided a chef, and a wonderful babysitter for our last night dinner out. She was super responsive and friendly and made the whole experience easy. The house is very tastefully furnished and the layout is well designed. Having the heated pool was a special treat. The manual for the house was such a helpful resource with links to recommended sites. We appreciated the effort taken to communicate all the information about the house and area in such an organized way. Thank you Lisa and Peter for a wonderful stay at your lovely Comporta home.

Amazing place, the view is so incredible, we spent a really great time at the villa, it is peaceful, beautiful and private! If I come back to Portugal I would definitely want to come back! Thank you again for everything!

Paula was amazing, so helpful, went over and beyond to help us and provide us with lots of info. So friendly, offered to book restaurants for us etc The house is fabulous better than the pictures for location and peacefulness . Swimming pool was lovely all the outside sofas. The view of the mountains was just wonderful. You need a car to drive to village, best village is azetitio, lovely restaurants and shops. Great local cafe and very reasonable compared to london prices. We drove to different places and different beaches. Loved Lisbon 44 mins away. Cascais was a pretty town but too touristy. Comporta was amazing, super special, wonderful place to eat and unusual shops. We drove to it 1hour but you. A get a ferry from Setabul €35 for three people. Thank you Paula for a great stay.

Catarina’s place it’s ideal for families or a group of friends. Very calm and peaceful, nice swimming pool, lots of space distributed along the house. I would definitely come back in the future.

This is the second time we have visited this lovely property and location. It is highly recommended - Carlos and team are amazing hosts - property is exactly as in pictures and the hosts are always on hand to help and reply to queries. Most importantly the property is private with a lovely little pool and outside area which we enjoyed. Finally the Beach is only 5 minutes away by car. What more could one want! 😁

La maison de Sergio est idéale pour des vacances tranquilles au Portugal. Pour les couples avec enfants il est nécessaire d’être véhiculées pour accéder à la plage (parking payant 1€), à pied pour les marcheurs (dénivelé important pour revenir). Le logement se situe à 20min de Sesimbra ville très agréable où nous avons passé la majeure partie de notre temps. La plage est plus pratique avec enfants mais moins sauvage. À notre arrivée la maison était impeccable nous avons fortement apprécié. Le centre ville est proche et laisse profiter de quelques cafés et restaurants de qualité. Quelque peu bruyant la nuit (route passante, chiens, …) et tôt le matin (animaux, coqs) mais rien qui pourrait nous faire regretter notre choix pour ce séjour. C’était une excellent expérience.

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in het huis van Dinis. Zeer prettig ontvangst en uistekende communciatie. De ligging van het huis is erg bijzonder met fantastisch uitzicht. We zijn 4 nachten verbleven en hebben genoten van alles wat de omgeving te bieden heeft. We hebben fantastische hikes gemaakt vanuit het huis naar Cabo de Roca. Wel een uitdagende hike met vele hoogtemeters met mooie uitzichten en stranden, zoals Praia da Ursa. Ook een hike naar het noorden naar het strand Paria do Gribeto. Ook een fantastisch strand waar je je even alleen op de wereld voelt. De afdaling naar het strand is wel écht een uitdaging. Heerlijk gegeten bij het restaurant Azenhas do Mar - Piscinas op nog geen 400 meter van het huis. Daarnaast lekkere verse vis gehaald bij de lokale markt en die heerlijk gegrild op de BBQ. Kortom, we hebben mega genoten van de rust, ruimte en alle uitzichten.

Probably one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed at. Patricia was extremely helpful for whatever is needed and very flexible with check in times. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. Overall a fantastic experience

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

Fantastic stay. The house is large, well-equipped, and ideal for groups or families. The pool area was clean and inviting—perfect for both lounging and entertaining. Inside, every convenience was thought of: good Wi-Fi, smart appliances, and plenty of space to spread out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort and style. A big thank you to Rocio for being such a thoughtful and responsive host — check-in was smooth and they made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.

Ik heb ontzettend genoten van het heerlijk rustige huis van Mariana. Van alles voorzien en schoon. Helemaal goed! Vooral de hangmatten zijn heerlijk om een hele middag in te doezelen en te lezend. In één woord fantastisch!

The apartment is a bright, modern and centrally located duplex. The top floor has a stunning view of Sesimbra’s rooftops. And importantly, Sarita is friendly, communicative and responsive.

We loved our stay at Figueiredo’s place. Perfect for us as a couple, with a private pool and deck to relax on in the evening. Quiet location within easy reach of Cascais, via Uber or a short walk, with its great food options. Communication was easy and everything was as described. Would highly recommend this place is you are looking for somewhere quiet near Cascais.

Casa do Poço is a wonderful comfortable home. Cristina is a friendly host who welcomed us with open arms. She is knowledgeable about the local area and she added a personal touch by providing gluten free snacks for my son and extra towels for the pool. We especially enjoyed the outside space, the garden is well maintained and the pool was a big favourite with the children. There is a great terrace to eat outside and the local area is peaceful. It’s a short distance to the lagoon and sea, highly recommend watching the sunset from the beach. We have made some special family memories here and would definitely stay again.

Sintra is a magical destination. So many people make it a day trip from Lisbon and, in so doing, miss out on the heart of this community. We were thrilled that Hugo and Laura provided this opportunity for us to more fully explore this amazing place. Their Casa das Rosas is exactly as described, very compact and usable. It takes a little getting used to the arrangement of floors with bedroom and shower on the top floor and bathroom and kitchen two floors below, but it works. Laura and Hugo are most gracious hosts and we received very clear instruction regarding parking, entry, use of space and departure. The welcome gifts were much appreciated as well. Great shower! Well equipped kitchen. We would recommend this place to anyone who is OK with climbing stairs.

Our host reached out from the start with enthusiasm for our stay. We were welcomed with special treats on arrival. There was a private porch for hanging out. The very wide, fine sand beach was just out the door and perfect for walking and building sand castles. The community was small and quiet not so busy in June. Still there were many great places to eat with friendly people working at them. A short drive to Sintra and other areas with great scenery. Great place to stay!

Bei uns hat sich innerhalb kürzester Zeit tiefe Entspannung eingestellt. Die Ruhe, die Umgebung, mehrfach tägliches Baden im sauberen Pool. Die meisten Mahlzeiten haben wir draußen eingenommen (mit Außenkühlschrank und Grill). Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das einzige, was mir etwas fehlte, war eine gemütlichere Beleuchtung/bestimmtes Licht. Wir haben uns mit Nachtischlampen beholfen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, vielen Dank!

This was by far the best Airbnb we stayed in during our two weeks in Portugal. The space is so incredibly clean and beautiful. Like a little slice of paradise, with a sea view!! The hosts even provided snacks and beverages upon arrival. We felt very comfortable the entire time. Although the family lives on the property, they were quiet and friendly and made us feel very welcome. My only complaint is you have to communicate through a third party and they require an exact arrival time and they aren’t quick with replying to questions. I prefer to book self check-ins on Airbnb so we can take our time to travel around the country at leisure and not feel stressed about arriving at an exact time, but the third party company required an exact arrival time. So I found that a bit annoying. But the hosts themselves, who live on the property were lovely to communicate with. Highly recommend this space! 10/10

Casa do Forno at Quinta Velha is simply wonderful. It is beautiful and private, with fantastic views. Every morning for breakfast, we sat outside and looked up at the Moorish castle. The place was spotlessly, clean and beautifully furnished. It was a wonderful getaway from the crowds at Sintra. The bed was very comfortable and our host furnished everything we needed. Ines is a truly great host. She not only helped us with dinner reservations, but also told us all about the fascinating history of her property. It is one of the nicest Airbnbs that we have stayed at. I would definitely return if I come to Portugal again!
