Holiday houses in Šestanovac

Excellent facilities. Lovely hosts (that live on-site). Nothing was too much trouble; they provided taxis, airport transfers, new tennis equipment, local directions, and more. The location is picturesque but remote; there are supermarkets, bakeries, pizzerias and cafes within walking distance - for anything else, a car is recommended.

Wij hebben als gezin enorm genoten van ons verblijf in Sestanovac. Van een warm welkom tot een lief lokaal presentje bij het afscheid. Het huis is ontzettend schoon en zoals beschreven van alle gemakken voorzien. We hebben genoten van de heerlijke leeftuin met een prachtig zwembad en BBQ. De tuin beschikte ook over een pingpong tafel, schommel en darts. En heel handig een grote buiten koelkast. Het droeg zeker bij aan een ontspannen verblijf. Het huis licht aan de rand van het dorp, het geeft je heel veel privacy en in de buurt heb je alles wat je nodig moet hebben voor dagelijks gebruik. Rij je met de auto een kleine 15 min en je hebt een prachtige kustlijn voor je waar je veel keuze hebt om heerlijk te genieten van een dag strand. Kort om. Een echte aanrader.

Unkomplizierter und persönlicher Check-in wir haben uns von Anfang an Zuhause gefühlt. Petar war stets für uns erreichbar und sein Vater hat uns täglich mit frischen Produkten aus dem Garten überrascht und beschenkt. Der Pool sowie die Asche des Grills und das neue Feuerholz wurde regelmässig gereinigt/aufgefüllt. Vielen Dank für alles! Bis vald und Liebe Grüsse Seraina

We had an amazing 6-night stay at Irena’s place with our dog. Upon arrival we were greeted with an AC-cooled apartment, fresh fruit, treats for our pup and local liquors. The area is a peaceful escape in a quiet town with beautiful mountain views. It’s a bit of a windy trek getting up to the house but it’s well worth it and you get used to the route quickly. The apartment itself is extremely well-equipped for a longer stay (extra towels, cooking basics) and the outdoor shower was a lovely addition. The host was extremely responsive and friendly to communicate with. We hope to be back soon!

Marina’s place was perfect for our family of four! It was easy to find and communication with the host was quick and effortless. Everything was new and modern and meticulously cleaned. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for cooking and the beds were extremely comfortable. The town itself is so cute! We found our way down to several small beaches and enjoyed excellent service at Konoba Porat, the one restaurant that was open. (We were there at the end of May just before the season started). If you have a car, I highly recommend going to Konoba Tadici. It’s a family owned restaurant up in the hills serving traditional Croatian food complete with their own wines and olive oil. Well worth the 15 minute drive. I highly recommend staying at Marina’s place. We will return if we even get the chance. :)

Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Petar est au petit soin avec ses invités, il nous a gâtés durant tout le séjour tout en restant discret. La piscine est un atout majeur. Tout le jardin est clôturé et superbement aménagé pour les enfants. On recommande chaudement !

This was such a beautiful home for our 5 night stay. The area is absolutely beautiful. Jelena and her husband were there when we checked in and were super helpful and incredibly friendly. This place is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet location within driving’s distances to anything you’d wanna do. Would highly recommend.

Na een vriendelijk en zeer attent welkom van Pave, voelden we ons meteen thuis. Van alle gemakken voorzien, zoals ook basis benodigheden in keuken/huishoudelijke zaken en heerlijk ruim. Heerlijk plekje buiten aan het zwembad. De kinderen waren dol op de hangstoelen en tafeltennis en de speelplek. Een fijn ledikantje met schattig beddengoed en kinderstoel stonden klaar. Dichtbij verschillende zaken zoals een supermarkt/koffiebar/pinautomaat, alhoewel het er rustig en gemoedelijk is.
