Guest House Kokoro is located one block from Miyajima's Machiya-dori Street. 　When you pass through the warm curtain at the entrance, you are guided to the courtyard by stepping stones, with bamboo walls reminiscent of a Kyoto row house restaurant. The courtyard is also beautifully balanced with white marble and gravel, contributing to the calm atmosphere. There are glass doors in the living room that allow you to see the courtyard. 　The building is only for guests to stay in through the garden, so there is no need to worry about anyone. From the outside, it looks like an ordinary house, but once you step inside, it has a different atmosphere that leads to the charm of the accommodation. If you ask, the owner has always liked gardening and has a wide range of hobbies. However, as mentioned at the beginning, he didn't intend to start an inn, so there are no baths, but there is no major concern as the surrounding inns can be used as an external bath. The first floor is a living room, and the second floor has two adjoining Japanese-style rooms that serve as bedrooms, allowing up to 6 people to stay comfortably. 　In the courtyard, there is a white stone character "kokoro" (heart) inscribed in the gravel. It was made by the gardener a long time ago for fun, and it is the origin of the name of the inn. He said he wants to welcome people with all his heart and help them relax and enjoy their stay.

KAIWA NO SATO This old house is an indigo mansion built in the first year of the Bunsei era (1804) during the heyday of indigo. The main house and the sleeping area (a barn where indigo was stored) have been demolished due to aging, but the historic living room and garden have been preserved to allow guests to experience a little bit of that time, and it is used as a farmhouse inn. In the old days, "Indigofera" grew on the fertile land of the Yoshino River basin in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing great wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa Province). Ancient documents on indigo, including cultural properties, are also available for viewing. It is the only stay facility around Shin-Onomichi Station. Our stay facility is a traditional Japanese style house and you will stay in the main building.
