Welcome to Ethel Mae's Cottage! This newly renovated house is the perfect spot to be your home away from home for a weekend or more. The cottage includes a full kitchen with supplies to cook with, TV, Wifi, washer and dryer, and a spot inside the garage for your car. There are two bedrooms with full/queen beds, and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room accommodates additional guests. There is also a quiet sun room that has a twin day bed that is perfect for additional sleeping arrangements.

Sleeping 10 comfortably, we boast NO STAIRS (!). The converted garage makes an incredible crafting/quilting spot for you and your friends! *NOTE - rates are based on a per person fee with a base rate of $150 per night (or three guests). Close to Creston, Afton and the lakes, we have ample parking for vehicles, boats or trailers.

It's hard for her to be away, so we created short stays so you can visit and so can she! Your stay helps preserve our farmhouse which features original farm sink, wood details, a wraparound porch with swings and antiques like the wind-up phone & more. We are located 2 miles off I 35 in Decatur City. 10 minutes from Graceland College in Lamoni. 10 minutes from Little River Lake and have parking for boats and outdoor outlet available for charging boat batteries. We love cozy uncluttered spaces to rent and our goal for this Airbnb was to create that for our guests. We offer complimentary bottled water, coffee, tea ,snacks and toiletries.
