Holiday rentals with a patio in Shelby County

I liked it so much that I’m going to book it again for my mom. Clean living room & bathroom, comfortable bed, easy access, and great tasting restaurants blow and across the street.

It was a beautiful place with the tallest ceilings I've ever seen! It's in a really cute little shopping district with a coffee shop only a few blocks away. We really enjoyed our time here and will try to stay here again next time through Birmingham

Susan was a great host. We had a problem with the A/C, but she addressed it right away and resolved the issue. And for our one day inconvenience her refunded our full amount. If the property is available I will be staying there again. Thanks.

I stayed here while working this past week in Birmingham. The location was perfect!!! The instructions on how to enter the building were so easy to understand and it was a breeze to get into the unit. It’s a very secure building. The was an odor in the hall but nothing horrendous just something I couldn’t place. Would have loved a floor lamp or table lamp in the living room but that’s just personal preference. The only “issue” is the unit is right across the street from children’s hospital so you can hear ambulances but so easy to tune out. Loved having on-site parking and you can actually see the spot for the unit. Tried to book it again for July work trip but it was already booked. Would definitely stay here again

The condo itself was the nicest and most well stocked/furnished Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The space looks exactly like the photos. It was clean. There were great amenities. It was close to downtown which was convenient for a business trip. The only very minor suggestion I have is to consider stocking shampoo and shower gel. There were so many other things available like coffee, coffee flavorings, laundry detergent and lotion that it seemed odd not to have shower basics. But overall I would stay here again if I have to return for work.

Great place to stay - steps from downtown. We were able to walk to pepper place which is always a bonus. Clean and for the area its located felt safe being up on the hill.

Carol’s place was clean and well appointed. She was very responsive and also accommodated late check in. There isn’t much around but it’s about a 15 minute easy walk to the convention center.

We really liked Mallorie's place! Very clean and nice furnishings. Quiet location off the beaten path. When housekeeping was running a little late on the day of our arrival, Mallorie offered to refund some money to make up for the inconvenience. We really appreciated that! Overall, great experience!

The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt like a true home away from home. The attention to detail was amazing — fresh towels, cozy bedding, even little local snacks waiting for us. The location was perfect — quiet and safe, but close to everything we needed. We walked to coffee shops in the morning and found some great restaurants nearby for dinner. And the host? Absolutely loved the peace, quiet and seclusion of the cabin. View from deck overlooking the lake was beautiful. I caught a few fish from the dock. Just remember you will be in the country and there are bugs so bring your bug spray if ya plan on sitting on the deck. The cabin was nice and clean and had all we needed for our 2 day stay. I would recommend a suv or truck for the incline from gate to property down to cabin. Mr Bert was very responsive and informative on place to check out. Majestic Caverns was amazing and the little gas station/restaurant 7 miles from cabin had the best breakfast. Only thing I would recommend an update on is both beds (me & hubby had to sleep in separate rooms). As mentioned on another review about the AC wall unit, you can't close bedroom doors if it's hot and if I booked during summer I would bring a fan to blow air in bedroom but other than that it was PERFECT and highly recommend this little piece of Heaven on Earth!!

Wendy’s place was great. Location was perfect for us. Close to restaurants and interstate which was a plus. We were staying with our son for a tournament at Hoover Met and it was very convenient and about 15 minutes away which was awesome for us. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area.

Great little house, would love to stay longer. There is a fence in the backyard, the neighbors do have dogs so if you have aggressive or territorial dogs there is a patch in the fence that connects with the other dogs. Otherwise, really cute space- catering towards dogs which was great since we were on a week long road trip. Thanks again Adam

This place was perfect for our weekend getaway. The cottage in comfortable and had everything we needed. The location and grounds were picture perfect. I wish we had a boat to take full advantage of the dock and gorgeous lake, but it was still a peaceful place to rest up.

This is a great place central to downtown Birmingham. Right above an awesome pizza restaurant and gelato shop. Place is exactly as pictured. The windows are beautiful. We stayed for a month and followed his helpful directions on getting a monthly parking pass for the lot right across the street and it worked out great! Would definitely stay here again.

Suzy was an amazing host! The house was completely gorgeous and more than worth the money. There’s ton to do within walking distance of the homestead. We did have a small issue with the AC, but Suzy jump in and got right on it and literally had a company out within 1 hr. I’ll definitely be staying again.

Joe’s place is very nice! I think it’s exactly what the pictures depicted and worked really well for our one night stay. Joe was very responsive to my messages and helped coordinate an early check in based on our need for that. That was very much appreciated and would recommend this property and any others he may have, based on that service alone!

We enjoyed our time here, the area is very cute! We paid $40 for parking close by, because street parking was minimal. The area felt safe, I appreciate the multiple security measures to access the apartment. The apartment itself is nice, well decorated and cozy! The bed was comfortable and there were additional pillows provided. The bathroom and kitchen were clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed at 42nd while in Birmingham for work. The location was perfect. Easy walk to charming shops and restaurants. Also a quick drive to other parts of Birmingham. The interiors were styled to perfection, with McKenzie's art showcased throughout the home. Furnishings were comfortable and immaculately kept. Such a beautiful home. I highly recommend and cannot wait to return soon!

Joanna's apartment was great! Beautifully updated and simply decorated. Firm beds, spotless showers and kitchen, comfortable den furniture. perfect for our brief stay for college Orientation.
