Located on one of the Seven Bends of the Shenandoah River, the Bird’s Nest is a brand new, custom built 800 square foot cabin featuring an open loft with king bed and skylights, steam shower, heated bathroom floor, and gas fireplace. Exterior amenities include a hot tub, gas grill, gas fire pit table, fire pit by the river, and private river access in a peaceful, wooded setting. Kayaks/tubes are available to use to float down the river with the unique ability to park/exit on the hosts’ property.

Grill up dinner & end the night with a dip in the hot tub watching nature's fireworks (fireflies). Hike and explore cool towns Woodstock and Strasburg. Adventure Awaits!

Guesthouse ideal for two people. Small cottage (1 bed, 1 bath) is situated in a country setting on ten wooded acres along a large serene pond. It features a darling kitchenette with sink, fridge, microwave and toaster/convection oven. (No stove top, no oven.) You'll enjoy birdsong and views of various wildlife. A quiet, restful place to stay when you want to be near Shenandoah Nat’l Park, UVA, Charlottesville, Virginia wineries, Monticello, Montpelier, CHO, and other close-by attractions.

Whatever you choose the skyhouse is stocked with roasted coffee, farm-fresh eggs, fresh-baked bread, teas and soaps from our incredible local homesteaders and artisans.

Only a few yards from water’s edge. Onsite walking trails with mountain bikes, canoes, and fishing. Family friendly! Pets welcome with additional $50 fee for the first pet, $25 for an additional pet. Wi-Fi in this cottage sometimes needs owner to reset. Near the Shenandoah National Park!
