Holiday rentals with a home theatre in Shenandoah River

We had an amazing stay at Theo’s place! Everything was perfect clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The thoughtful touches and great communication made our trip so enjoyable. We’d absolutely love to return! Highly recommend!

Lily’s home was exactly as pictured. It had everything we needed. They even created YouTube videos for such an easy check in experience and I think that’s what I appreciated the most. This place makes it even more special because my boyfriend, now fiancé, proposed to me here. It was the perfect home away from home, it was so hard to say goodbye. The only thing I would be careful with is the washer. It tends to get a little loud, so I recommend washing during the day to avoid disturbing the neighbors. Other than that, I absolutely loved the home and would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I came in for my nieces wedding and we picked a property that seemed accessible for a wheel chair while still having room to see family who wanted to stop in and visit. This place was more than enough. From suggestions about where to go and what to do to putting us on bird watch for Petey the peacock our stay could not have been better! Trish and Glen are so kind! Also if you are worried about privacy with hosts living in the home above, don’t. We had all the privacy we wanted!

Love the location being right adjacent to the Amazon buildings and the amenities that Amazon draws to the area ! Would stay there again.

This was such a great location only a few blocks from Virginia Square or Ballston metro (in either direction). It was nice to have a peaceful place to stay once we were done exploring DC. We felt VERY safe in the neighborhood- the apartments had a concierge at the desk 24/7, key fob for accessing the parking garage, and the neighbors were quiet. It was easy to walk to several local restaurants or just hop on the metro to explore Alexandria or even Clarendon area for shopping. The parking garage did have very narrow spaces for parking- not anything the host can control- so just try to find a space you can get in and out easily. The pool was also very nice and will be even nicer as it warms up for summer guests. They even had a lifeguard present and a grill/patio area. The host was super quick to communicate and the apartment felt like home for the week we were able to spend there. I felt very grateful to find these clean, nice and affordable accommodations outside of DC for our family.

This place was great. Wonderful neighborhood, beautiful home/set-up. Everything was laid out and made easy for us. 10/10 recommend and would def book again in the future.

Olivia's studio was perfect for our quick trip to DC. She was super responsive and made the entire process super easy. The space had everything we needed. The bathtub and the water pressure on the shower were especially great. The studio was close to plenty of places, and within walking distance of the metro. If I am being super picky, I would say that I didn't love the towels, but otherwise everything was amazing. Definitely would stay here again.

Bill & Sherry were wonderful hosts and their AirBnB is nothing short of spectacular. The pristine views from and comfortable accommodation made this an unforgettable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we are truly grateful!

Spectacular Airbnb and host. After seeing the posting I was honestly skeptical because I thought it was too good to be true, but this posting 100% lives up to expectations. The house is very spacious, clean, and has plenty of amenities to keep any group entertained. The view from the deck and master bedroom were beautiful. The host, Daniel, was very responsive as most reviews mentioned and he provided great recommendations that if our group had more time would’ve definitely taken more advantage of. I’d recommend this location for anyone looking for the ideal lake vacation.

Tahsin & Konrad have a very nice apartment in their house. It was clean and quiet. The bed and other furniture were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and the internet speed was good. The appliances all worked. They were very fast to respond to any queries. The house is close to the train station, which makes it easy to get into DC for sightseeing. The garden is fabulous, and the dogs are friendly. I recommend staying here if you are visiting the area.

Beautiful home. We appreciated that there were plenty of bathrooms, and plenty of space to spread out. Excellent showers and all you could need in the kitchen and pantry for the most part. Dominic was very friendly and attentive, and our family had an excellent time and created wonderful memories together!

If you're planning to attend a concert at Merriweather Post Pavillion I definitely recommend Rafi's! Rafi was very polite and responsive, and the place was just what we were looking for :)

Just Amazing!!! Luxury at its finest. Jonah and Fern were amazing. This house is one of the best Airbnb i have ever stayed at. The indoor pool and movie theatre were amazing. Everything you could need and more. We have a large family. This was so nice that there were so many beds and bathrooms. I am totally recharged. It smelled clean, looked clean, upscale appliances which is mentally relaxing not feeling like you have to wash everything. A true vacation home-away-from-home.

We had a great time staying here! We got there just in time for the pool to be done and were pleasantly surprised when we saw that it was heated and were able to swim in the middle of May. Beds were soft, host was responsive, and we had plenty of space for our group. Only negative I have really was the amount of ticks in the area. But as long as you do a good check over before going back inside after a hike, you’ll be fine!

My children and I enjoyed staying at the villa. This was our second visit and will definitely come back. There is so much to do for the kids. The condo was super clean and spacious which I was very happy with.
