Family-friendly holiday rentals in Shepparton

We loved our time at Cape Horn Vineyard. The home is beautiful with grand scale and stunning design. Everything about the house and its surroundings was aesthetically perfect. From the front windows we looked over a lush green lawn to the river, to the side we looked over the vineyard. The staff at the cellar door were great and helped us to find our way. We kept our boat on the water all week and skied upstream and downstream every day. It was a perfect holiday for teenagers (who like skiing) and their parents.

Donna's place was a really clean and presentable property with everything you will need. Great for families and is set up well for children. I had a couple of oldies with me so privacy was great with separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was obviously a decision to reduce soft furnishings for cleaning purposes, eg rugs, etc but that impacted the warm cosy feeling needed in Autumn. We found the AC challenging but no matter... we coped. I really loved the front gardens with fragrant roses. Thank you Donna!

Such a beautiful location. Very relaxing and tranquil. The apartment had everything you could need! An added bonus was the huge collection of movies! It was super cosy and the owners were helpful in recommending places to visit in the area.

Amazing House on water. Plenty of space indoor and out for groups and families. Host is amazing.

Great place, awesome spot, house was everything that it was told to be. Only downsides - Shower pressure wasn’t amazing and host takes a bit of time to get back to my comms but if you message early then it shouldn’t be an issue.

Well appointed, clean and tidy. Within walking distance of the Main Street (less than 10 minutes) comfortable beds. Elizabeth was easy to contact and always friendly and helpfull.

We had a lovely stay. There was plenty of room to lounge about. The hammock is super comfy and relaxing! The huge table in the lounge was perfect for my jigsaw puzzling. The big portable fan was very welcome on these hot days. We enjoyed feeding carrots to the friendly horses, and spotting kangaroos in the paddock in the evenings. I enjoyed my daily walks at the Seymour Bushland Reserve which is only a couple of kms away, and the town itself is conveniently close. The host is very responsive and helpful. We'd love to stay again!

I would definitely recommend if your looking for something quite /private natural and being amongst nature yet close to town so peaceful and beautiful I’ll be definitely coming back 💯 thankyou xx

Kristy's place was the ideal location for us. Very easy walk down to the Port and main street. Apartment was light and bright with all the comforts of home. Very comfy beds, and the little extras made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

We had a very enjoyable stay, a nice bottle of bubbles on our arrival, and heating was on which made it very cosy. Lovely little cottage, within walking distance to town. Very clean, and everything you need in is in the house. Will definitely stay again, great value for money and very well run by host Deids.

My friends and I had a great stay at Sarah’s place. The house is massive and comfortably fits a large group. The views were lovely and Sarah was great to communicate with.

We had a beautiful stay at Chelsie’s Airbnb. Our kids had a ball, the house is so family friendly. There was lots to do and walking distance to main town. We appreciate all Chelsie’s help and she offered us a flexible, late check out which was nice with kids. We will definitely be back! xx

We had the best time at Namparra Leigh. Such a beautiful setting and so much fun for my young kids and dog. Pool was a bonus as it was a hot weekend! Loved heading up the rocks and getting a visit from Sookie the gorgeous black cow. Marj the host was so lovely and accomodating. Absolutely perfect little weekend escape.

This place was great for our families’ annual Easter getaway. Lots of space for kids to play, well appointed kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and the pool’s a bonus!

Kevin and Vicki are exceptional hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at their property. It was immaculately clean and well-maintained. The beds and pillows were perfectly balanced — firm yet soft — ensuring we had restful, rejuvenating nights of sleep. We returned for another gorgeous mini break and love this extraordinary house and rural outlook with dog friendly spaces. Short drive to great local cafe ☕️ and pub and a bit further for wineries walking trails and country gifts John is a wonderful host.

The home is in a stunning location on the river. Such a beautiful place and well setup for large groups. Di and Neil would also be the best hosts I have experienced for communication and general vibes. Will definitely be back.

Really comfortable place, with plenty of space. The layout was great for our family holiday. Plenty to do with a pool and backyard basketball to keep the kids occupied. The host Alex was very responsive and helpful. Definitely a recommended stay.
