Spend a relaxing time with friends around the Irori fireplace. You can enjoy the Goemon bath, kamado, and old-fashioned slow life while feeling the season with the wind and sky patterns (there is a cassette stove, IH heater, and shower). You can also cook with a wood stove and BBQ outdoors. 　10 minutes by car from Izumo City Station. Izumo Taisha is 25 minutes away. There is also a hot spring nearby. The 20 tatami mat Japanese-style room is a private bedroom, and the kitchen and toilet are shared. There is a design office in the warehouse, and I work from 8:30 am to 6 pm on weekdays. You can also use the thatched cottage with a good view. 　There is also air conditioning, but in the summer, if you open the veranda and hang a mosquito net, the summer night breeze will invite you to sleep comfortably. From spring to autumn, you can hear the nostalgic sounds of frogs, cicadas, and bell crickets. 　If you are unfamiliar with charcoal or fire, I can help you if the timing is right. Firewood is free, but please bring your own BBQ charcoal if you use the sunken hearth. It is 1.6 km to the supermarket and 5 km to Izumo Station. It feels good to walk or jog along the Tanabe-michi Road and Kawato-te in the early morning. Please keep pets on the dirt floor. In July and August, please pick blueberries from the garden.

The inn is located in a residential area in Kaga, Shimane-cho, Matsue City, a fishing village in eastern Shimane Prefecture. Kaga's Kuchido, Kuchido pleasure boats (operating from late March to early November), Katsura Island, a beach, and popular fishing spots are 6-13 minutes on foot from the hotel. I still vividly remember how impressed I was when I first visited this area 30 years ago. Blue clear sea, beautiful sunset, colorful sea fish swimming, sea urchins, starfish, crabs🦀, etc. We opened the guest house "Umi no Hi" so that you can experience the beautiful nature of the Sea of Japan. Cherry Road is one of the highlights of the cherry blossom season. Please visit the old private house "Umi no Hi" in Kaga, Shimane-cho, a town where the sea, nature, and mythology come together. There are 4 completely independent rooms that are spacious enough for the whole family to enjoy, so privacy is assured ♪♪♪

This is the only accommodation near Shin-Onomichi Station. The accommodation is a traditional Japanese house, and you will stay in the main house. Limited to one group per day, it can accommodate up to 4 guests. Only one dog can stay with you (but it must be kept in a cage in the tatami room). Because it is close to the Shinkansen, there is noise and vibration every time it passes. It may not be suitable for those who are sensitive to sound. (It is quiet because it does not operate from 11:40 pm to 6:20 am) If you are staying with 2 people, you can have separate bedrooms. Or you can combine two single beds to make a double bed.
