Less than a 10-minute drive from the center of Shimanto City, Kochi Prefecture, a 128-year-old Japanese house has been renovated as an inn in Arakawa, a lush green area, with the concept of "a space that is both ordinary and extraordinary". It retains the charm of a traditional farmhouse while adding modern comforts. We provide a space where visitors can forget about time and relax from the heart. If you walk a little up from the inn, you can see the Tosa Kuroshio Railway Nakamura Line and the Sukumo Line from the bridge. Self-service, but we also offer 5L of Shin-Takumi Draught Beer, all-you-can-drink! Libertà, a vacation rental house with a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea

A private rental accommodation limited to one group per day is now open along the coast near Shimonada Station in Iyo City, Ehime Prefecture. The sky and sea spread out before you, as beautiful and blue as you can see.　It creates a calm space based on the color of the plaster. You can overlook the Seto Inland Sea, and on the first floor, you can cook in a stylish kitchen while watching the sunset. On the second floor, you can watch the sunset on the terrace and make things. There is one queen sized bed. There is one Koala sofa bed that can be converted to a queen size bed.　 There is one double bed on the second floor. It can accommodate up to 4 people. Natural yeast bread and Rodan coffee are included for breakfast. The tableware is the work of Tomoya Sasaki, a potter from Ehime Prefecture, and uses Mustakibi and Ryusen kilns. For towels, we use Iori towels from Imabari Towel.　Linen sheets are used. If you need dinner, you can use the adjacent Shioji restaurant, which is for guests only. There is a small river and a nice old house of Japanese style next to the house .The tool of the barbecue is prepared. （Please bring an ignition agent and charcoal） it's comfortable in summer as the temperature is a few degrees lower than in the city. As of 2024, mobile phones have become much easier to connect to. （no wi-fi） The air conditioner was installed in 2022, but it is only on the first floor.Enjoy the natural air. There is a fan. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also a unique cultural experience. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room. This room can be divided into two though in summer it’s not advised due needing the A/C. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can shop for local foods and prepare it all in your own equipped kitchen.
