The kitchen area is shared with Hotos.The rest of the space is reserved for your exclusive use, and you can enjoy your time freely, just like when you rent the entire property. A spacious area of approximately 230 m² can accommodate up to 8 people.Ideal for family or group trips.There is also easy access to Yoshinoyama, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, and Kimpusenji Temple, a World Heritage Site. Guesthouse Agae is a limited stay for one group that has been renovated from an old private house.The property is in a very convenient location, with the Kumano Kodo and Chikurōji approximately 550 meters away (about a 7-minute walk), and a supermarket (A-COOP), a bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu), and a restaurant (Tororoya) all within a 1-minute walk. The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so we will do our best to answer questions about walking the ancient pilgrimage trail, provide advice, and offer transportation if needed.We can also provide a personal guide, so please feel free to contact us. And we are a small farmer who grows rice and multi-product vegetables, herbs, and flowers. We provide the rice and vegetables we have grown during your stay, as well as fresh eggs grown in Kumano. The kitchen of the house is also equipped with condiments and cooking utensils. We hope you will enjoy cooking with us. Makomo-no-ta, which is said to be "the grass where God dwells", spreads around the inn, and you can relax in your room and feel the "Makomo breeze". You can enjoy the "Medicinal Herb Makomo Bath" at the Irori back table and the Goemon bath, where the well water is heated with firewood. There is no TV or wifi, so why not turn off your digital devices and turn on your own sensibilities?
