Rakuya is a private lodging located in a great location just a 3-minute walk from the center of Utsunomiya City. We named it "Rakuya" with the hope that you will have a "fun" and "relaxing" time. It can accommodate 4 people normally, and up to 6 people, and is equipped with free wifi, a kitchen, and a washing machine, making it ideal for remote work, workations, and long-term stays. In addition, free parking is included, so it is convenient for traveling by car! Utsunomiya is known as the "city of gyoza". There are many popular gyoza shops and local gourmet spots within walking distance, so you can easily enjoy the authentic flavors. In addition, Utsunomiya is a castle town with more than 1000 years of history, and is full of attractions such as Utsunomiya Castle Park and Futarasan Shrine. Nearby, there are many attractive tourist destinations, such as the World Heritage Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Ashikaga Flower Park, Otani Museum, Nasu Kogen Hot Springs, and Mashiko Town Ceramics Experience. This 130-year-old house was a finalist in the Reconstruction Awards held by the Old House Restoration Association. The interior has been completely renovated, with fiber optic Wi-Fi and a sauna (for 1-2 people). Parking is available for 4 vehicles. It is recommended for family trips, remote work, and as a base for long-term stays. It is also an ideal base for sightseeing, as it is about 90 minutes to Nikko on a regular road, about 60 minutes to Ashikaga Flower Park, and about 30 minutes to Tochikiki Family Land, an amusement park. It is about 10 minutes to the nearby golf course, and about 10-15 minutes to large supermarkets such as Aeon and convenience stores. We can accommodate up to 4 guests, but the base price is for up to 2 guests. We charge an additional 5,000 yen per person for additional guests. Please be sure to let us know when you book if you are having a BBQ. Please bring your own charcoal. Out of consideration for our neighbors, the following activities are strictly prohibited. ・ BBQ after the sun has gone down - BBQ in front of the house - Fireworks ・ Playing loud music, etc., indoors or outdoors ・ Making noise outside after the sun has gone down ・ Drinking and making loud noises ・ Loud conversations indoors after 10 pm Please book only if you are willing to comply with these rules.
