Location Opened in May 2024. Located in the heart of Takayama's historic district, Makoto-ya Ojin is a stylish inn in 1-chome, Ojin-cho, Takayama City, where the good old Japanese landscape remains. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). A model home of a construction company that builds wooden houses in Kiso, Shinshu.Located at the entrance to the vacation home area of the Kiso-Komagahara Highlands, it offers a sense of openness as it blends into the natural surroundings. A boundless sea of stars.A summer resort located at an altitude of approximately 900 meters. Experience the warmth and aroma of wood, with Kiso cypress pillars, Kiso cypress flooring, and Kiso larch beams. In winter, heating is provided by a wood-burning stove and solar thermal energy. How about reading in a hammock? On the premises, there is an office for the construction company and a restaurant operated by the company, where you can also have lunch. This is an old house built 221 years ago, located in the center of Tsumago-juku. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely. Equipped with WiFi and an automatic lifting table, teleworking is also possible for long-term stays. Please have a relaxing time in this quiet old house. We look forward to seeing you ！

中山道の宿場町である奈良井宿の隣町に位置し、江戸時代から木曽漆器の産地として栄えた歴史ある町並み。重伝建保存地区に選定され、現在も漆器店が並んでいるこの町に、1931年に建てられました。 私たちの家は、お食事なしの一日一組限定、一棟貸し切りにてご利用頂いています。アクセスにも少し時間がかかり、スーパーやコンビニもないこの地域ですが、だからこそこの場所には、静かさと何気ない素朴な日々の美しさがあると思います。読書、散歩、地酒（日本酒・ワイン）を頂く、ゆっくり寝て起きるなど古きよきこの町で暮らすように滞在して頂けたら嬉しいです。 山の谷間の古民家で網戸はありませんので、暖かい季節になれば自然の生き物が入ってくることもあります。築95年の建物は細部までぴかぴかに磨き上げれている訳ではありません。できるだけ清潔にと思いお迎えの準備をさせて頂いておりますが、大きなお心でお越し頂けると幸いです。 皆さまに頂いたご宿泊費は建物の修繕に使わせて頂いていて、この素晴らしい家をまた次の世代に引き継げるように、まずは私が20年ほど大切に守っていきたいと思っています。

This is a traditional Japanese house with a large entrance and white "Noren" curtains. You can rent the entire house out, and it's for up to four people per day. (There are two bedrooms.) There is a private outdoor sauna in the garden.
