Swell Shack Off-Grid Tiny Cabin w/ Sauna For Rent

This rustic off-grid micro cabin is 106 sq. ft. but feels much bigger, nicely nestled away in the mossy forest. Sleeps two in a queen bed in the loft. Minutes from surfing and hiking trails, you’re in the right place for epic adventures. We built our cabin using mainly reclaimed materials. We wanted to build a place that had minimal impact on the environment. It has on demand hot water, rainwater catchment, and solar powered electricity. We also have a beautiful sauna available to rent.

This custom mid-century style home (an original Jordan River residence) is tucked in amongst 2 acres of rainforest and beautifully landscaped food gardens. Our unique Westcoast hideaway features wrap-around decks for sun all day, a woodstove, radiant floor heating, and a covered bar for hosting. The Ship Wreck Cabin in Shirley.

Welcome to the "The Ship Wreck", a sea container in the forest. Located in the community of Shirley, stay for the escape or enjoy the local beaches, hiking, camping and surfing. The Ship Wreck is a comfortable recycled sea container, placed in the trees on my private and forested 2.5 acre property in rural Shirley BC. It is a peaceful space with a large outdoor fire pit and many amenities of home. The Ship Wreck is a "glamping" experience, but fully insulated and heated.
