This inn is located in Asama Taisha Shrine, the head shrine of Asama Shrines nationwide, which has existed since 853 AD, and is registered as a World Heritage Site along with Mt. Fuji. This room has a magnificent view of the Wakutama Pond, which is fed by the waters of Mt. Fuji, a designated Special Natural Monument, and you can spend a luxurious time that can only be experienced at this inn. The nearest station is Fujinomiya Station (JR Sobu Line), which can be accessed in about 2 hours by transferring from the Shinkansen and local lines from Tokyo Station, about 7 minutes by bus or about 15 minutes on foot from JR Fujinomiya Station, and about 40 minutes by bus from Tokaido Shinkansen "Shin-Fuji Station". There are restaurants within a 10-minute walk, and Miya Yokocho, where you can enjoy Fujinomiya Yakisoba, is also close. A detached house surrounded by greenery at the foot of Mt. Fuji. There are two 6-tatami-mat rooms. There is a kotatsu in winter. Free wifi, workspace, refrigerator, toilet, bath, BBQ, etc. are all available. There are 2 air conditioners for a comfortable stay. There are also BBQ facilities and a fire pit, so you can relax while feeling the nature. I rent out the inn's detached building on Airbnb, and I also have a home in a separate building, so I can accommodate a variety of needs. Renovated toilets, baths, and tatami mats in October 2024. We rent out bicycles for free. * Please let us know in advance if you are using a BBQ or campfire. A usage fee of 1,000 yen per person (cash on the day) will be charged. We have all the basic items such as nets, iron plates, charcoal, firewood, firelighters, chucka man, mosquito coils, dishes, chopsticks, gloves, tongs, spatulas, seasonings, etc. You only need to provide the ingredients. The terrace has a roof, so you can have a BBQ without any problems even in rainy weather. * Small and medium dogs are allowed. 2000 yen per dog per night. Two single beds available. Climbing up the stairs, you will find a loft like a secret base where you can spend your time as a living room. The loft is my favorite place to relax and unwind. If there are more than 2 people, we will prepare a futon in the loft. **Directions from Shimizu Station to the Guest House** **By Bus** 1. Exit the west entrance of Shimizu Station and turn right. Walk to the second bus stop. 2. Take bus No. 2 from the second bus stop. The fare is 320 yen. (Please have the exact amount ready as no change is given. If you only have bills, there is a money changer next to the driver's seat.) 3. Ride the bus for about 20-25 minutes and get off at "Shizuoka City Shimizu Hospital". 4. After getting off at "Shizuoka City Shimizu Hospital", walk south for 5 minutes to the right. 5. Enter the parking lot there. "Kamome" is at the back on the right-hand side. **By Taxi** 1.
