“It's hard to imagine that this place is even more beautiful than the photos, but it's true. We have traveled to five different islands with our two daughters and my parents and this was by far our favorite accommodations and tied with a beach house in Tortola for best view. We paid the same for Villa Bellamare as other villas and condos elsewhere but got much more for our money at Villa Bellamare. There are three bedrooms, each with air conditioning and private bathrooms. In the main house there is a master bedroom with a view, as well as a bedroom that faces the back garden with a king bed, daybed, and trundle. The second master bedroom is detached and also has a view. All bedrooms and the living room have nice sized flat-screened tv's, although I must admit we didn't turn ours on once because the view was all we wanted to look at. The kitchen was recently redone and includes all high end appliances. There is even a built in grill in the garden. I get the sense that the rest of the house was also repainted and refreshed recently. Kelita has beautiful taste and chose very comfortable furniture and several charming built in, comfy spots with a view. There are heavy duty shutter doors and glass doors that we opened every day to reveal an open air living situation in the main living areas while keeping our bedrooms closed and air-conditioned. Outdoors there are so many wonderful options for relaxing alone or hanging out with a group. The gazebo was a favorite for sipping morning coffee and napping in the afternoon . There are even string lights for a charming evening setting. There is a large dining room in the garden with string lights as well, a dining set out front with a view, and a little seating area just outside the kitchen where we found ourselves eating lunch and having evening cocktails quite often. The grounds are just gorgeous and have two little gates. One leads to another deck just above the sea with more seating, and the other leads to a staircase down to the beach. The beach at the bottom of the staircase has a lot of shells and our girls enjoyed a lot of beach combing there. They even snorkeled and dug for shells with great success right off the beach. There is also a restaurant/beach bar at Serenity Cottages right next door. We only went there once and it was delicious. Half of our stay was quite windy and the other half was slightly breezy. The windy portion wasn't great for swimming or snorkeling at this spot. However, just around a few short bends and a ten minute walk is Shoal Bay. Shoal Bay is a calm, beautiful beach with many restaurants and beach bars to choose from. I loved having our own yard, pool and complete privacy within a short walk to more activity and an expansive beach. Our only real disappointment was the pool being too cold for us to get a ton of use from. Part of that may have been due to the windy days that were perfect for napping in the gazebo, but cold for an unheated pool. The other element of our stay that was exceptional was the level of service provided by the owner, Kelita, and the property manager Jerdell. Kelita was very responsive to all questions and requests during the booking process and stopped by to check on us during our first day at the villa. Jerdell met us at the ferry dock upon arrival, moved our bags, and led us to the villa. He set up a grocery delivery for us as well, and was quickly available for any needs throughout our trip, day or night. He then transported our bags back to the ferry dock and made sure we met up with our boat captain for the ride back to St. Maarten. The level of care provided by both Kelita and Jerdell went above and beyond anything we have experienced while renting in the Caribbean. This is truly a special spot with an outstanding, expansive view of the most dramatically bright turquoise water in Anguilla. It's a great value and I promise you will love every second of your time at Villa Bellamare.”

“Kelitas place was beautiful and spacious as advertised. It is in a convenient location, less than 2 min drive down to the beautiful Shoal Bay beach or a short walk down from the property to a quiter section if you prefer. We found having a Jeep to be very useful for getting around the island and the property manager Jerdel assisted in setting up the rental, and escorted us to and from the villa upon arrival and departure. The villa is the perfect size for two, very secluded and private with all amenities advertised. Housekeeping is available everyday if needed. There were two other villas on the property that were vacant during our stay so it did get pretty quiet at night. There was also a good variety of restaurants within the area and grocery store within a 10 min drive. Jerdel the property manager was great, he was very hospitable and communicating with him was a breeze. Very knowledgeable about the island and always willing to help out with bookings or advice on where to go.”
A beautiful secluded apartment in the heart of Island Harbor, just a short walk away from the renowned bakery Le Bon Pain and close by bars and restaurants.
“We stayed at Sea Rocks for 8 days in August 2019 and it was the perfect spot for us! The space is exactly as it looks in the pictures, except it was slightly bigger than I expected. The air conditioning in the bedroom worked great (which was very important in August, but you might not even need it in cooler months with the windows open). The mattress was extremely comfortable and was the kind where you don't feel your partner moving, which was very nice. The linens (sheets and towels) are high quality. They had Roku and Netflix, which was great because after long days at the beach we enjoyed some down time to relax at home. The kitchen is stocked with the essentials that you need, and Marian kindly supplied some basics like shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, and trash bags. The bakery Le Bon Pain is literally at the end of the driveway - about a 2 minute drive away - and perhaps the nicest beach on Anguilla (Shoal Bay East) was a short 5 minute drive. We did carry on luggage so we were very excited to be able to do a load of laundry while we were there (and the washer/dryer are outside so I didn't feel like I was infringing on the main house to get to it). All in all we had a great trip and are glad we stayed at Sea Rocks - it's a great value and was a good fit for our vacation style.”
