Holiday houses in Shoranur

I had stayed in this flat with my family consisting of young children, senior citizen parents and my wife, I must say that everyone liked the unit. The flat is beautiful, fully ventilated, with natural air coming from every corner of the flat. It is located near to Swaraj Round (where the Sree Vadakkumnathan Temple is located). We were easily able to book the Uber to go around the city. The host was kind to arrange the washing machine for us on my request. Not mandatory though however two things which could be improved in my opinion:- 1) Good to have a Power backup like Inverter in the flat as there were frequent power disruptions in the area and that too for long time and crucial when your phones/laptops are running out of charge 2) The Internet was not working in between even though my devices were connected to the router Overall, it is really a nice place to stay. I would strongly recommend to everyone and I would personally be booking it again during my next visit in Thrissur.

We had a pleasant stay here. Sreerag and his family were great hosts. Their hospitality was remarkable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the feeling of a home away from home!

We had a wonderful stay at The Wilsons! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely delightful. The property is situated at an impressive elevation, offering stunning views that truly took our breath away. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into maintaining the place—it’s beautifully designed and exceptionally well-kept. A special mention to Mr. Vivin, who was a truly outstanding host. He was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. His thoughtful touches and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was serene, and we felt completely rejuvenated during our stay. This was easily one of the best stays we've ever had, highly recommended. We'll definitely be back!

The place itself was amazing. It felt like home and was uper clean. Kiran was also very responsive. Overall, loved the stay.

This villa is absolutely outstanding. Pure unadulterated luxury. Plenty of room, ultimate beds, lovely bathroom and everything you need for the PERFECT stay. The host is extremely responsive, nothing is too much trouble. Then there’s the stunning beach that goes for miles, great food and plenty of Tuk Tuks! We’re English and found everyone local super friendly, kind and very pleased to see you I can’t recommend it highly enough

Had the best experience during Thrissur Pooram 2025, and our stay made it even more special. This was a beautiful and authentic Kerala home—peaceful, traditional, and full of charm. The place was perfectly clean, with fresh bedsheets, tidy rooms, and sparkling bathrooms. Everything was well arranged, and we felt completely at home. The location was also convenient for attending the Pooram celebrations. Hosts were kind and always ready to help. Truly a memorable stay—felt like staying with family! 🙂😄

This is a perfect spot for those who would like to stay private for a bit, surrounded by neighbouring family houses, where you will feel absolutely free from all the external disturbances. Also, the place was exactly what was shown in the pictures. It actually was more than our expectations. A beautiful place to go for a staycation with your family particularly. A suggestion is, if able to add a small pool somewhere, it would be a great addition + attraction to your home. Location wise, we have to go a bit more inside, but, once you have stayed for an hour, you will feel safe and totally okay with the atmosphere there. Finally, if we created any troubles during our stay, we would like to apologise. We hope that there was no any issues during our stay. Thank you.

Our group of friends celebrated our 30-year high school reunion Sosa. This enchanting resort exceeded our expectations. Tucked away in the woods, this 120+ year old Kerala Tharavadu-style house offers a quaint, no-frills getaway from the city's hustle and bustle. The resort's rustic charm is beautifully preserved, with minimal essential upgrades that maintain its authenticity. Take a stroll through the woods and discover the serene river, perfect for a refreshing bath. The real star of the show is Manager George, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. From waking us up for a river visit to arranging a massive dinner delivery, George's hospitality was exceptional. While the resort has an open kitchen, we recommend exploring local eateries, like the nearby Chaaya Kada for breakfast, and ordering lunch/dinner from KPM Residency. *Note: 3rd bedroom in outhouse*. Overall, this resort is perfect for those seeking a peaceful, rustic retreat without unnecessary frills
