Christina Lake Toba Cat Garden

This was known as Lake Toba Cats Garden homestay where most of the guests that coming from all around the world love cats! Unfortunately due to Covid-19, we close the homestay. The good news is that on Feb 2025, we collaborate with Christina Guest House where we have 5 units with lake view and FREE WIFI. Uncle Bond would love to show you around Samosir Island :) Please note that the price is for one room only with a private bathroom. You can book another room on the spot :).

Comfy lakeside home in TukTuk

We built our dream home. This is the only villa in Tuk Tuk with a kitchen right on the lake. One large bedroom and bath w/ king size bed upstairs. Hardwood French doors open to wrap around balcony/veranda. A full kitchen and living room area downstairs (with its own toilet and shower) can double as a second bedroom. New leather EgoItaliano sofa bed downstairs to increase comfort for 3rd and 4th guests. Just added: unlimited high speed internet (12-20/mbps).

Tabo's Mansion - cozy and comfy house in the hills

Tabo mansion is a charming and comfy house, newly renovated, in the hills of Parapat. 3 bedrooms on 2 floors provide place for 6 and the living and dining room with natural furnishing is the cozy center of this little Villa. On the spacious Veranda and a Balcony on the 1st floor you can enjoy the cool breeze coming from the Jungle. The kitchen is equipped with cooking gear for your convenience and tea and coffee are complimentary

Batak House A

Large Batak House connect to Juwita Cafe, You can enjoy our special coffee from Samosir island, our Batak cuisine cooked on the site, or even take our famous cooking class. Juwita cafe is also the center for the unique Batak pepper, Andaliman. Besides you can also enjoy Batak music live and learn the basic od Batak music such as Batak Drum, Batak Guitar, Batak Keyboard and so on.

Jabu Sihol Homestay - Experiencing Batak Culture

Jabu Sihol offers a unique homestay where travellers can experience local Batak culture and help empower Batak people. We have 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms, you can rent individually or separately. The homestay combines pleasant accommodation with the opportunity to learn more about Batak culture: such as traditional dancing, cooking, farming, fishing, weaving and language.

An Oasis in the greenfields

Different from crowded Tuktuk our house (built in 2020) is situated in the small village Siallagan, about 350m from Lake Toba. Our neighbours are woodcarvers, one lady weaving Ulos, and a Tuak Bar is nearby, sometimes with singing guests (until 10pm).
