The owners have done an exceptional job restoring and modernising a beautiful period property, blending historic charm with modern comfort in the most thoughtful way. The interior is both elegant and rustic, with carefully curated details that give the home a warm and authentic feel. Local artwork is featured throughout, adding a real sense of place and creativity to every room. You can really feel the love and care that went into every design choice. It’s a space that feels not only luxurious, but also welcoming and full of character. Highly recommend—it’s a gem you won’t want to leave!

Cozy, clean and very comfortable house. Bedroom great. Turaida Museum Reserve and all the immediate surroundings are undoubtedly beautiful, because so uncharacteristic of flat Latvia. There is a place to go and what to see. Feini that on two sides the property was bordered by a meadow and that a full homestead of apple trees, pears, river shrubs, not thumbs. A little downside to the quiets like me - a relatively lively nearby highway, especially during preennians.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay. The design of the house is thought through to the smallest detail, and the vast territory was perfect for our dog. The barbecue and fire pit added coziness to our evenings. Despite the presence of one neighboring house, we barely noticed the other guests. The host, Mareks, was exceptionally attentive and friendly. All in all, this is a wonderful place to relax, which we highly recommend.

I give 5 out of 5. The location is very peaceful and surrounded by nature. We could hear birds in the morning and enjoy fresh air. It was perfect for relaxing. My kids really loved the garden and small playground area. They run around safely and had so much fun. The house is very clean and everything is well prepared. Kitchen had everything we need for cooking. Towels, bed, toilet — all very clean and comfortable. The host is very kind and always answer fast when we have questions. He gave us many helpful tips about local places and things to do. We feel very welcome. This place is really good for family trip. We want to come again in the future. Thank you so much!

We loved our stay at Nora’s place. She was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our visit. The setting was peaceful and serene—exactly what we needed on a rainy day. We especially enjoyed the relaxing sauna and the pond for cooling down afterward. A truly refreshing experience!

All over good place, good location, good for families

Our stay in Anses apartment in Līgatne was a complete success. The apartment is located in a listed building near the historic paper mill. With the window open, you can hear the picturesque stream rushing - almost like from a picture book. The apartment is furnished with a lot of love for detail. The large, modern kitchen is well equipped and invites you to cook. We particularly liked the tastefully renovated bathroom as well as the charming combination of restored floors and stylish vintage furniture, which wonderfully accentuate the character of the house. We felt right at home. The contact with Anse went smoothly and warmly – you can feel how much passion is in this accommodation. We will be happy to come back!
