We had a spectacular stay in Guanajuato! Host Alex was incredibly friendly and attentive—his hospitality truly stood out. The location is fantastic, with a breathtaking view of the city. Yes, there are some stairs, but it wouldn’t be Guanajuato without them! The pool was clean and heated just as described, making it a perfect spot to relax. The house is ideal for groups—comfortably fitting up to 9 people—and the attention to detail throughout the space made it feel like Alex had anticipated our every need. This is far more than just a place to sleep while in town—it truly feels like a resort experience. Alex has forever raised the bar for what I expect from an Airbnb in Guanajuato. I’ll definitely have to adjust my expectations for future stays elsewhere. Highly recommended—100%!

The photos don't do the place justice, it is a very nice rest house and they have the attention to detail, they were very attentive and friendly at all times .

We stayed at Casa Serena for almost 2 months. The house is charming and had everything we needed to feel at home and be self-reliant. The beds were so comfortable and the linens and towels were top-notch. Have a filtered water spout in the kitchen was a huge plus as it was great not to have to purchase and lug drinking water! The house is within easy downhill walking distance to the historic district with its lovely parks, museums, shops and restaurants. As is the case in many Guanajuato neighborhoods, the house sits on a hillside and so your walk back up from town is quite a workout! Still, that did not pose a problem for us. Alvaro was a perfect host. He was very responsive to any questions that came up and showed genuine concerns for our comfort and experience in his hometown. The welcome packet provided great recommendations for excursions and restaurants to try. Thank you too, Alvaro for the lovely sparkling wine you presented us with when we arrived. Thank you, Alvaro!

The place was very nice, everything was very clean and safe.

Carlos was attentive at all times, the facilities were adequate and the place has a lot of space, perfect for several people, the only drawback is the entrance to the parking lot that is on a slope and makes access difficult (if you know how to maneuver well you will not have any problems). I would definitely stay there again!

Quiet area, located in a residential area, the house is clean and organized. The host is friendly.

Delightfully cozy and in very convenient location to everything in centro.  Would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.  Local property manager, Nayeli, very easy to reach and responsive in Spanish to English. She was flexible and able to meet me for earlier than expected arrival and remained pro-actively in-touch during my two week stay.  Owner, Jacquie, also responsive through AirBnB messages.  Some pleasant surprises: plenty of bottled water and fruit upon my arrival (and filtered water tap in kitchen sink); good WiFi speeds (while I was working remotely); Type A electrical outlets (like in U.S.) throughout the home - no need for travel adapter; USB charging ports on one side of bed;  heated BioBidet 2000 toilet seat; big comfy bath towels; big smart-TV that readily streamed YouTube, Netflix, etc.; umbrellas by entry; and a single-serving MagicBullet blender in kitchen. In short, this place is set-up to be comfortably lived in for short-stays as well as longer.🤓👍

The place is beautiful, it exceeded our expectations, it does not need anything to spend a few days of pleasant coexistence with family and/or friends and relax, very comfortable beds, a very pleasant terrace for coexistence with horns that you can connect to musicalize the moment, within the building very comfortable rooms, hosts always on the slope as well as the manager of the location very attentive to maintain the facilities and gardens always in perfect condition, the pool with warm water at all times. Widely recommend 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back.
